I recently switched to Kelperland Veterinary Clinic and couldn’t be happier with my decision. You can genuinely feel that it’s a family-owned practice where care and compassion truly come first. The vets take their time with every appointment, and you never feel rushed or like you’re just another case to get through. That level of attention, thoughtfulness and genuine care makes such a difference, and it’s incredibly reassuring. I especially appreciate Simon’s approach - checking in on my dog, Onyx, and taking the time to explore and understand what’s going on, rather than immediately jumping to scans or procedures that may not be necessary. It feels measured, considered, and truly in the best interest of the animal. I wholeheartedly feel that Onyx is in the safest hands that I can fully trust. The ethos and values at Kelperland are something special - they really are one of a kind. I feel very lucky to have found them!

Xmas eve and I find out that my cat Tiffany had hurt herself, badly. Referred to Kelperland by my vets. Dropped her off and went back home. Hour later I had a call to inform me she had broken her leg. Xmas eve and they were prepared to stay and operate. She was already asleep from the xrays. Met Simon who operated on her at 5pm to collect her. Showed me what he had done in regards to plates in her leg. Took her home. Boxing day I received a call from Simon checking in on her. Cost aside, service has been superb much like my regular vets. What makes it better, as far as I know, is neither of them are part of a bigger vet group. Would highly recommend.

We have used Kelperland since 2019 . We got a rescue dog from Crete and first port of call was Kelperland . Since then our rather boisterous dog , Dimitri, has had three major operations. Cruciate ligaments on both hind legs and a removal of carcinoma on his front leg . Through all this we have had the best care and attention for our dog. I cannot praise the skill and dedication shown by Simon and his team . We will be eternally grateful for the care and attention they have shown ( even when he decides to do his business in the waiting room SORRY 😂. Love and best wishes to you all Jim Catherine and Dimi xxx

Always kind and caring towards both our dogs. Good advice and treatment - we really feel our thoughts are taken into account and that our dogs get the best treatment. On this occasion, Floki says a big thank you to Simon and team.

I have to say a massive thank you to the team at Kelperland Vets, particularly Alex, Nikki and Kim. I contacted Kelperland when my regular vet was unable to see my sick kitten and wouldn’t be able to for several days. I was incredibly distressed and Kim was so kind and reassuring while I stumbled over my words trying to explain the (rather complicated) situation. She assured me that she would help and call back, and did so promptly with an appointment booked for just a couple hours after I had called. At the appointment, I was greeted by Alex who again, is so lovely to speak to and was very reassuring that they would do everything possible to fix up my kitten. She was incredibly thorough and had a clear plan for what steps she felt would be best to take. In the following days, I had several more appointments, some of which were with Nikki who was exceptionally caring too. Both veterinarians made several calls to me with updates while my kitten was kept for observation, and were just as delighted as me to see my kitten make improvements. I can’t express how grateful I am to have found this wonderful practice and I most sincerely would recommend them to anyone who is looking for genuinely caring professionals to care for their pets 🐾 . A big thank you to the whole team from Kai & Boots, who is now feeling much better! :)

Highly recommend Simon and the team at Kelperland. I have been coming here since before Google reviews were a thing! Simon took over my dog when Mr Cook retired, and his first job was a cruciate ligament surgery and recovery, Simon was so lovely, and saw us for regular check ups during his recovery. The nurses Faye and Lottie have stayed which I also think speaks volumes. They are fair and honest, and I trust them implicitly with my pets care. They run a great pet plan for flea worm and vaccinations which works well and spreads the costs.

Having my first health experience with my first dog was very scary. My dog had cancer from the sun in a very awkward place which meant risky surgery and involved lots of trips back and forth for several weeks. The staff were amazing they helped me through the whole process and Simon and Alex are the best vets in this area for sure. I thought my dog initially had a cyst but Alex identified it was potentially something more sinister at the first appointment which unfortunately was correct. I would like to mention if you see what looks like a little bruise on your dog's skin which develops into a lump get it checked immediately, especially if your dog likes the sun or is from a hot country. My dog is healing very well and the work Simon and Alex had to do during this long operation was tricky with many potential risks but the wounds are so neat and once again I have a happy dog, hopefully now cancer free! Thank you to all at Kelperland for your experience, expertise and for all your kindness. What an amazing outcome! Thank you everyone xx
