I have a massive rescue dog who doesn’t like other dogs or men very much and the girls from the Reception team to the nurses and the vets have been Absolutely incredible! Honestly I wouldn’t know where he would be now if it wasn’t for their Kindness, Patience and amazing Knowledge. Plus a massive shoutout to Amy one of the vet nurses who has been a true superstar ⭐️

Lack of transpareny on fees and poor customer service. If I could give it no stars, I would.

Veronica at Henley House Vets is just amazing! She could not have been more kind-hearted, compassionate, caring and understanding at what was undoubtedly one of the most heartbreaking and painful periods of my life, with my gorgeous dog, Mandy. She tried everything to get her better and explored the root problem with us which unfortunately we got to the bottom of and sadly, the outcome wasn’t good. However, she made this terrible period bearable and explained everything along the way. I cannot recommend her more highly and the reception team showed just as much compassion both as we arrived for her final visit and when we came to collect her. Thank you Veronica and Henley House, you genuinely give vets a good name and made Mandy’s short time at your veterinary practice (since switching only very recently) worth every penny.

My poor boy had an accident which led him to brake his leg. Veronica and the amazing team at Henley House in Heathfield were nothing short of fantastic. He needed his leg amputated and I could not have felt more safe and trustful in their hands. Veronica, who actually did the procedure, was so professional and experienced. The after care was attentive, caring and her and her team had such at wonderful manor with both my dog and indeed his human! We put a lot of trust in veterinarians especially at a time of trauma, and I feel these guys, especially Veronica and Amy, helped greatly at this awful time to make both myself and my dog feel comforted and cared for. I really can't thank you all enough.

I am deeply troubled by the neglectful treatment my dog Casper, received at Henley House Veterinary Clinic. I am particularly concerned by its management (Chris, who is specifically responsible of the majority of the content of this review, and whose presence seemed to deeply distress my dog. Although this may not be relevant, I do trust my dogs judge of character). After entrusting them with Casper's care, their “treatment” was reckless and seemingly far more financially motivated than having any desire to see Casper better. They left him in a far worse condition than he ever was before seeking their help. After an operation, three courses of 'trial and error' antibiotics, chemical anti-pain liquids, further advices for another set of antibiotics and that the cone was no longer necessary - all of these decisions led to the detriment and deterioration of Casper’s health. When I finally plucked up the courage to voice my concern, I was told “I’d broken the trust” and told I was no longer welcome in the veterinary clinic. I was appalled by the dismissive insensitivity to my valid concerns about my dogs treatment. To give further context, I am blind so unable to work or drive so after nearly £1000 spent and my dog left in a worsening condition the manager felt it completely morally appropriate to relinquish any responsibility for the care of Casper after taking my money and left me and Casper without an accessible vet. At this point, I felt manipulated and completely distraught with no referral or option for treatment to get my dog better. I urge the community to consider their options carefully when choosing a veterinary clinic, as no animal should suffer such neglect and no person in a position with a responsibility of care should willingly extort money from a person whether they have a condition that makes them vulnerable or are in a condition that makes them vulnerable. Although henley house have made it quite clear they do not care about the condition of Casper, with no follow up contact on his well-being at all. For those of you reading that maybe concerned, since I left the vets, I sort the advice of an expert in natural medicines for dogs and within weeks of switching to natural oral antibiotics and topical anti-fungal treatments, Casper completely recovered and is back to him self again. The cost of this treatment was a fraction of the price I paid for my dog to not be better… if you’d like to know more about these treatments I am happy to share, not for money but just because I really wouldn’t want what we went through to happen to any pet or owner.

Very helpful staff. Mr Hill is a really good vet and explains things clearly in understandable language. They treat both of our dogs and are very responsive.

Fantastic vets, always so kind, caring, passionate and amazing at what they do. They are so gentle with my guinea pigs who are notoriously quite nippy when getting their nails cut at home. Highly recommend!!
