My dog has been registered at this vet for many years. We have just moved out of Cheshire and re registering with another vet was sad; every time we visited Nantwich pet vets all the staff were super friendly, supportive and welcoming. The reception staff couldn’t be more helpful when I called to book an appointment and when you arrive for the appointment. The nurses and vets have been fantastic. Couldn’t recommend this vet practice enough.

The reception staff were extremely helpful, especially Hayley, whose kindness and thoughtfulness made a real difference to our visit. We arrived 15 minutes early for our 10:15am appointment and were taken to a side room because my dad’s dog can be reactive around other dogs. Hayley checked on us, offered a hot drink, and explained that the vet was running slightly behind. She was genuinely lovely and very considerate. Unfortunately, our experience with the vet, Dr Jennah Swindells, was very different. The vet arrived at 10:50am with no apology for the 35–40-minute delay and opened the appointment with, “Okay, how can I help?” When I mentioned the long wait, she replied that she’d had a “tiring morning dealing with sick animals” and asked whether we still wanted the appointment. Her manner from that point felt defensive and unnecessarily sharp. My dad, who is in his mid-70s, showed her a photo of medications he had already tried. Her response was, “To be honest, I don’t see anything in the picture that’s beneficial.” When he made a light-hearted comment about costs “How much? I’m a pensioner, you know. Do you have these costs on a price list so I can look at them?” she cut him off, saying she was in a “narky mood” and would appreciate him not making “annoying irritating comments.” It was clear she didn’t want to be in the room with us. When she left to get the medication, she didn’t return; instead, a member of the reception team brought the medication and card machine. After such compassionate service from the reception staff, the contrast was disappointing. A simple apology for the delay and a more professional, respectful manner would have made a significant difference.

Thank you so much to Megan Bennion and everyone who took care of Edward, our beautiful cavi, when he was so poorly. Although further treatment was not possible we felt confident he was in such capable and caring hands. Also thank you all for the great kindness shown to us at such a sad time

Emily was amazing. She was empathetic, calm and reassuring. She listened and took things on so well. Muffin had 6 teeth out, and he is none the wiser but pain free. Thank you so much.

Alan saved our dogs life. Our regular vet wanted Pierre put down straight away. Then vet said I will give you two days then you will have to bring back to have him put to sleep trying to force us to have her put him to sleep. He is only two years of age. Another vet referred us to Alan.He told us he was 99.9 sure he could get Pierre back onto his feet Pierre was double incontinent and couldn't use his back legs.He had a burst disc in his spine. We left Pierre in Alan's hands. His staff are wonderful. Alan was true to his word.Pierre is walking.Has control over his bowels and bladder.Alan is a neurologist vet he knows all about IVDD.We drove 64 miles to get Pierre to Nantwich, well worth the drive. I find it shocking how we were treated.... . everyone is so warm, kind and welcoming. Our previous vets were a nightmare. ,,🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟treatment is what you will receive when Alan treats your Dog. Highly recommended.
