The vets in here are fabulous, but the reception staff today were a bit odd. I had called as My dog didn't seem well , the receptionist explained there were no appointments until next week unless it was newry , I explained I couldn't get into newry and the taxis wouldn't take any animals, she reiterated ' well it doesn't sound good , if it was my dog I'd want them seen' , so I asked if she had any suggestions as I really couldn't get to Newry but there were no appointments available in warrenpoint where I am, of course after her stating it didn't sound good ( on the phone even though I dont think she was a vet ) I was worried as to what to do - as any dog owner would be without any options, so I said ' I'm not really sure what to do', at which point she raised her voice quite harshly, repeated My name a few times , stated that she'd have someone call back and hung up very abruptly. All a bit odd really, can't say I've ever had that experience in the last few years with them , nor is it a pleasent experience if you're worried about your dog . Just very strange. Edit : I've spoken with the vet and my dog seems fine more than likely just ate something she shouldn't have, not sure why the receptionist caused such panic.

Very welcoming staff and the vet was so lovely. She took plenty of time with my cat Rosie, and was very efficient and quick giving the injection. She kept Rosie very calm and was extremely helpful with any questions I had. I would highly recommend this practise in Warrenpoint.
