Had Carol come down and help with my dog that is anxious and very excitable, she was very knowledgeable and helped so much. She showed me a few different techniques, drills and other things I can do to help my dog feel more comfortable and calmer. I would recommend her to anyone.

Carol is great. So friendly and extremely knowledgable and clear. She was generous with her time and answered all of our questions. The whole family came away from the zoom meeting with a much better understanding of what an adult dog needs to be happy. After one meeting, we feel very positive that we now have the tools to tackle resource guarding.

Carol, who runs Petopia has a great understanding of dog behaviour and is able to very skillfully apply this to the practicalities of effective dog training. Carol is very professional and really goes the extra mile to support both the dog and the people involved with it. You can trust Carol to do her best for you and that best is very good indeed. She has great warmth and empathy. I can highly recommend Carol and Petopia to anyone who needs some help, of any kind, with dogs.

Dog walking with Carol isn’t just walking your dog! What you get is her patience, understanding and added dog behaviour training all added in. Carol has vastly improved her knowledge of dog training through various dog training courses to expand her knowledge of dogs which she passes onto your dog. So don’t just get a dog walker to walk your dog, get Carol to teach your dog how to walk, how to interact with other dogs and generally how to behave correctly!

Carol is a calming and caring person who loves animals and will stop at nothing to help a dog improve. Alfie (8 month mini schnauzer) and I have been having weekly behavioural walking sessions and he improves every week. He has always been very anxious and nervous and didn’t trust dogs or people. He was showing signs of aggression and with his barky nature was a nightmare to walk. While building up Alfie’s experiences and exposing him to a variety of places, Carol carefully chooses opportunities for him to meet other dogs and people. She knows when to take chances and give him the freedom to explore or play which has built up his confidence massively. He loves meeting and playing with dogs now and is getting much better with people. We still need to work on children though! She has also helped me to worry less and be more assertive, building up the trust needed for Alfie to enjoy walks with me too. Walks are much more joyful now! Carol has also given us so much advice to help Alfie to be a calmer and happier dog at home and outside. He is a much more chilled and content dog thanks to Carol.
