Outstanding service, I done a seven hour round trip for a cherry eye to be removed, I have 38 years experience with bulldogs and this very experienced vet used the best procedure hence why I was happy to drive so far. The puppy felt nothing at all and is home happy and playing with not a mark on her. The vet was so nice and kind and genuinely loved the puppy showering her with kisses. Wish we had more common sense vets like this. This photo was three hours after the procedure her eyes are perfect.

We took our little Baby Belle for her 1st vaccination today and were totally enamoured with this vet. Chris totally understood our concerns regarding the available vaccines and she was given one that was correct for her size and risk level. We both found the vet and all staff to be very kind and engaging and would most definitely refer every one we know to this vet.

I have just rehomed an 8 week old puppy he attended this practice for 1st vaccine and health check on 8th August. I have since attended my own local vet in Telford and being advised puppy has received Lepto2 vaccine which has been discontinued back in January 2025 and is no longer in stock(vaccine given expired September 2025). My puppy is now needing to have two lepto 4 shots for full protection, I have confirmed Lepto 4 is required with a doggy daycare I use with my current dog. Shawhill were more than happy to have my puppy back for 12 week jabs, of course they were they are being unethical by giving a vaccine that is not compatible with other vet practices especially with puppies potentially being rehomed miles away from this vet. They are not following guidance from RCVS and are motivated by greed and not animal welfare. I have reported my concerns with this practice to the RCVS.

After calling numerous local vets, reading around places reviews and looking around online we decided to bring our boy here for the treatment of his cherry eye. We were so impressed with how clean the practice is and how kind & caring all 3 ladies were. Our boy Reggie is only young and very nervous/weary of people but you were all so understanding and it was all over and finished within seconds. Gave us great aftercare advice and treatment for him and really made us and Reg feel at ease, thank you so much.
