On Saturdays, the practice opens at 09:30 and shuts at 12:30. On Sundays, the practice is closed. Our team understands that pets can fall ill or have accidents at any time, which is why the practice offers weekend opening hours, so you can visit us when it best suits you.

The veterinary practice offers an array of specialisms within two main departments. The highly trained and compassionate veterinary surgeons consist of Miss Nicola Armstrong and Mr Ronan McConville, who have the qualifications BVMS MRCVS and directorial roles within the practice. The team is also supported by Ms Louise Anderson, Dr Charlie Batchelor, and Mrs Nicola Gallagher, who all share the same passion for animal care.

The nursing team within The Avenues Veterinary Centre Mount Florida is headed up by Miss Emma McCluskey, who is recognised as a DipAVN (small animal) trained nurse. Alongside her, Miss Lisa Thomson and Miss Linsey Wallace work tirelessly to support pet owners and their animals through treatment, care, and consultation processes.

The practice is open for appointments and consultations, and offers an in-house laboratory and radiography facilities. The team also complete routine surgical procedures daily, including neutering and soft tissue surgeries.
