Was visiting the area on holiday and my puppy ripped his dewclaw. Saw a lovely vet who dealt with the issue and was only charged for the consultation fee which was £56. Had been quoted £220 elsewhere as they deemed it as an emergency due to booking the appointment on the same day. (Saturday lunch time)

I needed an Export Health Certificate for my puppy, and The Sidings Veterinary Surgery were excellent throughout the whole process. The team were organised and very cooperative, and everything was handled smoothly from start to finish. A special thank you to Dr Hannah, who was incredibly helpful, detail-oriented, and professional. She guided me through every step, made sure all the paperwork was correct, and ensured I had everything I needed for stress-free travel with my puppy.

Really positive experience, Hannah took time to engage with our dog and she and other lady (sorry didn’t catch your name) helped hold him for the grass seed removal avoiding sedation and no interruption to our holiday. Thanks for seeing us and linking with our vet for history and fitting us in to evening surgery. Lovely to see an independent practice and taking time with all who attended.

Friendly knowledgeable staff. Efficient service. My cat was treated with great kindness and respect and charges were reasonable. I would definitely recommend. Hamish is now feeling much better.

Sadly our dog was misdiagnosed here, which delayed the correct treatment. A vet abroad identified the issue immediately! One receptionist was friendly, but overall we found some staff rude l. Not the right fit for us — we wish we had gone with the other vets our friends recommended.
