Really easy to sort an out of hours appointment for my dog who became unwell overnight. He was seen as quick as they could with other emergencies and they made him comfortable with painkillers and started on antibiotics. We were offered a drink whilst we waited and treated with such kindness at a distressing time. Can’t that them all enough!

Myself and my partner brought our cat in after he seemed very lethargic, wasn’t eating, drinking or using the toilet. We saw Rebecca at vets now (believe that’s her name) and she was fantastic, I was frantic worrying about our Milo and she made sure he was calm, I was calm and went above anything I expected. She explained everything in great detail and made sure we understood what was up with him. We even managed to get a shout from Milo (only when she was giving him a needle😅) but we are absolutely grateful for her.

So far, so good. Took my very distressed cat for treatment for an ingrown claw. Had to wait a short time due to an emergency op going on, but the treatment for Bella was swift and successful. Very friendly service and no issues in sorting direct payment from my insurers.

Have put a formal complaint through. Do not recommend, only person I can recommend was the vet who did the surgery on our dog. She was lovely, kind, caring and compassionate, unfortunately we didn’t get her name. The costs do not reflect the experience. Our beagle was sent home from surgery with no antibiotics or painkillers, vet didn’t explain that it was urgent to get him in to usual vet that day, meaning he could’ve gone days without painkillers and antibiotics and a catheter!

Overall the experience was fantastic, the vet was really knowledgable and put my mind at ease. The only issue I have is with the receptionist. She repeatedly got my dogs name wrong, left me stood outside when I buzzed the door thinking I was still en route(?) and very much had the attitude ‘it’s because the dogs old’. She doesn’t know my dog at all and doesn’t know that she may be older but she’s very much young in the mind. And to keep calling my dog by my name was just ridiculous when I’d specifically asked which name are you wanting. Everything else apart from her was easy and very pleasant and I thoroughly recommend.

Went with my little dog indie, got triaged by the loveliest nurse (Louise) who was not only so knowledgeable, but made me and my dad who were so worried feel so so comfortable. Milly the vet then came in and was so thorough and also so kind to us and indie. Catherine on reception was also fantastic, so good at her job. We were so grateful of there care we recieved and knowing they are there for us when our own practice is closed. Super thankful!!!!! So happy to say indie is back to her normal self due to the quick care they provided. X

Having called the out of hours service I was able to take my dog straight away to the PDSA on Newhall road. Arriving there the staff were already aware I was coming and had all the relevant details. The parking is easy access and the entrance is disabled friendly. All the staff were friendly and very helpful. Every thing they had to do was fully explained and I would highly recommend the service.

The vets were nice. The consultation fee of £300 is absolutely ludicrous, though. Especially for a 20 minute appointment. The facilities are quite run down, not the cleanest, and there’s a broken chair in the waiting room. It’s also quite unsettling to have a whole wall of messages saying RIP (pets name) in the waiting room when you’re coming in with a very ill pet. I can understand the thought behind it, but it’s not very pleasant to read when you’re worried about your pet

Vets now were great, from the very first online chat. Over several hours with pictures and video of how my dog was. We ended up having an emergency appointment at midnight as her symptoms were worsening. She had to stay over night for X-rays and treatment, we were updated every couple of hours on the dogs progress. I was very pleased with them.
