Vets 1 are without doubt the best vets I have ever used. The care to both pet and owner is fantastic, from the minute you step through the door. They are professional, caring, always listen and allow you to make informed decisions about the best care for your beloved pet. I always recommend other pet owners to use Vets 1.

EDIT: Following the comment from Simon below from Vets 1 I would like to add that everything I have put below is FACT and I can back it up, During a call I received - at approx. 08:30 on Friday 6th March 2026 - changing an appointment I was due to have less than an hour later, I had made it clear to 'L', that this was the straw that broke the camels back and I would be moving to another practice, stating that I 'should have done this long ago'. Simon then told me in person at 09:40 that 'we'd reached the end of the line'. His reason for this was that by bluntly expressing my displeasure with Vets One, (after four years of not being blunt), 'L' had cried when she came off the call. However, I'd already made clear my intention to leave, so his rude and condescending little tantrum when I arrived at the practice was unnecessary. My decision to leave had already been made, (but as the camels back had been broken, I did give Simon as good as I got!) My list of issues with Vets 1 is too long for here but as I say I have evidence to back up everything I have said. As my 4 y.o. dog has severe health issues - which in my opinion have not been managed as well as they should - I am at the practice at least monthly, sometimes weekly, so my 'client experience' is more than just a snapshot. If Simon is denying that anything I have said below is true then I'm happy for him to post the evidence. (See photo of email to back up one of my points below - nobody wants to see four years worth of back up). Simon was not on 'L's' call to me, and he clearly hasn't listened to any recording if there is one, to hear what I actually said. But to be clear I did not swear, was not derogatory or personal in any way to 'L', but I was annoyed at years worth of issues. Simon has never made any effort to apologise for any of the issues I have experienced over the years. And on three occasions when I have requested that he call me about issues which have impacted the treatment and welfare of my much loved dog, I have not been called back ... by anyone. His comment that I'm only posting a review now that I've left is entirely true. After all, what idiot would be as dissatisfied as I am, post a negative review and remain a client! Avoid! Good at taking your money not much else. Lost my dogs immunotherapy. Ordered more - which I had to pay for - then found it. Their fridge then broke and they couldn’t guarantee the immunotherapy was then still viable so I had to sign an ‘off licence’ form. Constantly charging for items not dispensed or charging twice. No proactivity when it comes to care I.e referring without request. More interested in keeping the money rolling in than working out a solution. Simon who is front of house is more interested in pushing his dog food onto people that doing anything worthwhile. Constantly don’t have items required in stock, they don’t look ahead to what is needed for upcoming appts and have it already ordered in. Couldn’t be less impressed.

Absolutely brilliant veterinary practice. Had an issue with one of our dogs on a Sunday, and they got us in at short notice. Prices are very reasonable compared to other vets around. Staff are very nice and friendly.

Brilliant team. Been with vets 1 for a few years. Ive cried on their shoulder when Ive lost a special cat knowing that they did everything they could day and night for him. They’ve been my first port of call for advice. Ive taken lost animals to them, and most recently they have quickly seen our grape eating puppy. They’re friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. It’s a busy practice with many vets and team members, I think this only reflects how it must be nice to work there. It’s also reassuring they are there 24 hours a day somebody always picks up the phone. Thank you vets 1 for all you've done for our furry family to date :)

We have nothing but praise for everyone at Vets One. The kindness, care, and professionalism shines out from everyone employed there, and they are all motivated to do the very best for animals. Our beloved cat Basil was put to sleep last Saturday, after we knew that Katie had done everything she could to help him. His final moments were calm and peaceful, thanks to Lauren’s compassion and care.

We have 2 very large newfs, Panda (79kg & Simon 74kg) who unfortunately have needed the vets recently. Not the easiest of dogs to handle but the vets were absolutely brilliant with both of them, nothing was too much trouble. Appointments were available same day, phone calls back from the vets when they said they would. All the staff are excellent, very knowledgeable & friendly.
