Fantastic vets, they always managed to get us an appointment at one of their branches. Brian is very caring and takes his time with each animal he sees. Recently he has had to flush the tear ducts of our rabbit, he give us lots of information and answered all our questions. Our cats also have their boosters at Wombwell, again no issues at all. Receptionist is always friendly and helpful....highly recommended

ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS YOUR WALLET This clinic does not care about animals. They do not care about pet owners. They care about money, and money only. From the second you walk in, it’s obvious you’re being treated as a walking credit card instead of a concerned pet owner. Every interaction feels like a sales pitch. Every recommendation feels driven by profit, not by what’s actually best for your pet. They push unnecessary tests. They push overpriced treatments. They push “packages” and add-ons without clearly explaining why they’re needed — and if you question anything, you’re met with attitude and vague non-answers. Transparency does not exist here. Meanwhile, the actual care? Rushed. Cold. Minimal. My pet was barely examined before they started talking about costs. Not outcomes. Not comfort. Not long-term health. Costs. They were more focused on swiping my card than listening to my concerns. What makes this especially infuriating is that they present themselves as compassionate professionals while behaving like used-car salesmen. It’s manipulative, unethical, and disgusting. Veterinary care should be about helping animals. This place has turned it into a business model built on fear, pressure, and exploitation of worried pet owners. If you want a clinic that sees your pet as a living being, go elsewhere. If you want a clinic that sees you as an ATM, this place is perfect. I regret ever trusting them, and I will never return.

THIS PLACE SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED TO OPERATE I am beyond disgusted. This clinic is an absolute disgrace to veterinary medicine and an insult to anyone who genuinely loves animals. I have never encountered such breathtaking levels of incompetence, negligence, and total lack of humanity in my life. The staff don’t just lack compassion — they actively seem annoyed that sick or worried pets exist at all. You’re treated like a burden, your pet is treated like a number, and your concerns are treated like noise. No empathy. No urgency. No professionalism. Just blank stares and attitudes. They misdiagnosed my dogs condition, and as a direct result, my dog suffered unnecessarily. That is unforgivable. This isn’t a minor mistake — this is dangerous, careless, and potentially deadly behavior. Watching people who are supposedly “trained professionals” display such obvious cluelessness is terrifying. They either don’t know what they’re doing, or they don’t care. Honestly, I’m not sure which is worse. And let’s talk about the cost: they happily take your money while providing bottom-of-the-barrel care. No transparency. No explanations. No accountability. Just a bill and a shrug. A vet clinic should be a place of trust, safety, and compassion. This place is none of those things. It is a cold, chaotic, profit-driven mess staffed by people who have no business working with animals. If you value your pet’s health, safety, or life, STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. I wouldn’t bring a stuffed animal here, let alone a living creature. This clinic should be investigated. Shut down. Period.

(1 Star – if I could give zero, I would) This is hands down the worst veterinary clinic I have ever dealt with. The level of incompetence, indifference, and outright disrespect shown by the staff is absolutely shocking. If you actually care about your pet, do NOT bring them here. From the moment I walked in, I was treated like an inconvenience rather than a concerned pet owner. The staff were rude, dismissive, and clearly uninterested in listening to anything I had to say. It felt like they had already made up their minds without properly examining my pet or considering my concerns. What makes this even worse is that they [misdiagnosed / delayed treatment / gave incorrect medication / ignored obvious symptoms], which caused my pet unnecessary suffering. This is not a small mistake — this is a serious failure of basic veterinary care. On top of that, the prices are outrageous for the laughably poor service provided. You’re paying premium rates for substandard care and zero compassion. No explanations, no accountability, no apologies — just excuses. A veterinary clinic should be a place of trust. This place is the complete opposite. I left feeling angry, helpless, and heartbroken for my pet. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the risk to your animal’s health. Go literally anywhere else.

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at this veterinary practice was extremely disappointing. From the moment I arrived, the place felt disorganized and chaotic. I was kept waiting far past my appointment time with very little communication or apology, and the staff seemed rushed and dismissive when I tried to ask questions. What upset me most was how little time the vet actually spent examining my pet. The consultation felt hurried, and I left feeling like my concerns hadn’t really been listened to. The explanation I was given was brief and unclear, and I had to ask repeatedly just to understand what was going on. On top of that, the costs were much higher than I expected, and the breakdown of charges wasn’t explained in a helpful way. It left me feeling frustrated and taken advantage of rather than supported. I came here hoping for professional, compassionate care, but instead I left stressed and disappointed. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I wouldn’t feel comfortable returning or recommending this practice to others.

Dangerously incompetent AVOID THIS VETS I brought Three year-old female German Shepherd to be spayed we paid £25 deposit we dropped her off And the veterinary nurse checked her and said she’s fine and told us what to expect. We get a call about an hour later telling us that she’s in season so when she wakes up, we go to pick her up and the second we walk through the door, all we hear is her screaming at the top of her lungs In distress and a receptionist makes us sit there in the waiting room for 10 minutes listening to her crying when we finally get to see the veterinary nurse again she Brings her out and she is in pure panic trying to claw at the door With her tail in between her legs, she is normally never like this as she is a calm dog, Veterinary nurse tries to justify her mistake by saying she wasn’t like that When we dropped her off And then they have the cheek Making us pay another £25 So in a nutshell, I paid £50 For them to Traumatise shave my dog, The incompetence of this vets is on another level All they want is your money I would not trust them with my gold Fish let alone my dog The owners of this business should hang their heads in shame
