We visited today (bank holiday weekend, Sunday) while on holiday in the area with our dog. We were warmly welcomed by Angela Limbert and had a very thorough, accommodating and informative consultation and examination with Dr Beth Greatrok. From the moment you walk in, there is a very relaxed and considered atmosphere with important touches like the candle, if lit, to let you know someone is saying goodbye to their pet, a separate cat waiting area and a memories tree where people can add pictures, paw prints and leaves remembering their beloved pets. Our dog is a rescue and shy and nervous around new people and environments, so Dr Greatrok moved the examination table and got on the floor to calmly examine. She examined and consulted on the area we were concerned about and also did a full examination with suggestions on other areas too. Giving helpful instructions for when we get home and see our own vet. You get the feeling that this independent vet surgery is ran by animal lovers that give passion, time, care and attention to their profession. The care and service provided is specialist, efficient and impressive, delivered at an excellent standard in an everyday relaxed way. The cost was reasonable too, especially given it was a next day, out of usual hours appointment. Highly recommend!

From start to finish, Eliza and the Team demonstrated extraordinary skill, professionalism and genuine compassion. Eliza cared for our beloved dog, Erol ,with unmatched expertise and kindness. During a very difficult and emotional time she went far beyond what we could have expected. Her Skill and Professionalism are outstanding but what truly sets her apart is her Compassion. She treated Erol with such gentleness & respect while supporting us with patience and understanding every step of the way. We are forever grateful for the care, skill and warmth that she showed us. Mary is such a lovely caring vet ,she is fantastic with our poppy when she needs bloods etc ,poppy is such a nervous pooch and Mary never rushes her ,definitely 5 ⭐ vets all round 🙂

I can’t thank Eliza the vet enough for her expertise and the care she shows towards my old boy, my sausage dog. She always takes the time to see things from the dog’s point of view, which really makes a difference. I’ve been with this practice for four years since moving to the area, and they’ve also been fantastic with my other two sausage dogs. The whole team has such a calm and therapeutic approach especially important with dachshunds, who can be a little stubborn at times! 🐾 Rhi the nurse has cared for my dogs many times, and I absolutely love her gentle approach and expertise. Thank you both so much for everything you do!

Had a great experience with all staff this afternoon when I had to take a visit with my dog as an emergency visit whilst on holiday after the skin was taken off both carpal pads. I was fitted in and then Finn was treated with care and attention and I had all treatment explained to me with notes being forwarded to my normal vets so they can complete a follow up with all the information. Finn is no worse for ware with his bandaged paws. We both appreciate all the help 🐾
