Our veterinarians, Mr Andrew Mellor, BVMS MRCVS and Director, Dr Rachel Armer, BVSc MRCVS, Dr Nathaniel Hind, BVetMed MRCVS, Dr Yasaman Mirkhalaf, BVSc MRCVS, and Miss Claire Wright, BVSc MRCVS, are all highly skilled professionals dedicated to providing exceptional care for each patient that comes to our practice.

Our caring and personable veterinary nursing team, Mrs Ellie Ambrose, RVN, Miss Abigail Ashton-Armstrong, RVN, Mrs Lisa Brennand, RVN, Miss Jessica Cameron, RVN, and Mrs Heather Hanson, RVN, work alongside our vet surgeons to ensure your pets receive top-quality care during visits and procedures.

Our practice treats a wide variety of species, including birds, cats, dogs, exotic animals, wild animals, poultry, and small mammals. With a team that maintains a strong interest in the latest veterinary advancements and techniques, we are continually expanding our knowledge and skills to offer the best possible healthcare for your pets.

Andrew Mellor Veterinary Surgeons is pleased to offer an array of modern facilities for both clients and their pets. These include treatment areas that are easily accessible to disabled clients and a comfortable waiting area where clients and pets can relax before appointments. We pride ourselves on being open on most weekends, ensuring our clients know they can rely on us to provide attentive care for their pets even outside of standard weekday hours.

Our practice is open throughout the week, with regular hours from 8:30 am to 7:00 pm on Monday through Friday, and from 8:30 am to 12:00 pm on Saturdays. Please note that we are closed on Sundays in order to give our dedicated staff time to recharge for the busy week ahead.
