Andrew Mellor Veterinary Surgery

Attended this morning (Saturday) with my daughter's cat who was unwell with tummy pains. Didn't have an appointment and the cat, Noodle, wasn't registered here but my dog is. The vet , Viktoria, agreed to see her. We thought the end was near for Noodle as she is elderly. However we were assured that she was basically healthy and her tummy was ok. Viktoria adminstered a pain killer injection, and prescribed some painkiller drops. We find this vet practice to be very caring and not overly expensive. Thank you for seeing us at short notice as we didn't want to leave Noodle in pain over the bank holiday.

Brilliant vets practice. They kindly saw my flat-coat retriever at very short notice as was really worried about an issue that had developed. The vet (Onur) was wonderful with my dog, correctly diagnosed the issue and is now quickly on the road to recovery. Also, I’d just like to say that I thought that the subsequent bill for the consultation + three lots of meds was very fair too. All the staff are lovely and genuinely passionate about the service they provide. Thank you!

Andrew & an assistant came to my house today to euthanise my old, severely ill cat. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Caring, compassionate & above all highly professional & efficient. Thank you Andrew.

Amazing practice with lovely caring staff. I’ve said this before many years ago my mum cleaned fir the surgery and was proud to do so. I always remember her saying the care behind the scene's was amazing! These are the things are pets can’t tell us. Mine have had their ops today and although it’s always a worry i had full trust in the staff. x

We have visited Andrew Mellor vets this morning with our much loved cavapoochon. We saw a new vet Viktoria Hudak who we were very impressed with She explained everything she was doing and she was very gentle with our dog. She was very thorough and caring as are all the staff.

Andrew Mellor Vets is an incredible vet practice. Andrew and his team are amazing informative caring compassionate and very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Originally we were with another vet who referred our first dog to Andrew. He performed an operation which saved his foot we were so lucky. After that we transferred permanently. We are so glad we found this wonderful Vet practice. The new premises are lovely bright roomy and welcoming. And there is a specific section for cats and dogs how very thoughtful!

After an awful experience with Vet4pets Andrew Mellor vets was highly recommended to me for a second opinion and i can not recommend enough. Andrew was absolutely lovely and so were all the other vets. Andrew was so gentle and reassuring — not just with my cat, but with me as a worried pet parent. They took the time to explain everything, answered all my questions, and made sure my cat was as comfortable and stress-free as possible. The treatment was thorough, compassionate, and efficient. I left feeling confident and grateful, knowing my fur baby was in the best hands. My cat is already on the mend and feeling more like their playful self again. 🐾💕
