HELLO EVERYONE My name is Freddie I am a four year old Shih Tzu who weighs 6KG but I know I am a big LION really My dad sent me this week to “Chez Cockburn” for a 3 day holiday My villa was on site and I was spoiled by all the ladies cos I am handsome but sometimes grumpy - (I get that off my dad) PLUS POINTS I needed a life saving operation from stones that had blocked me from cocking my leg nothing worked but Auntie Nadine spent 3 hours playing with my “delicate” area and put me all back together Maxine was a lovely friend in aftercare we had cuddles and she liked me She cheered loudly when I finally made a fountain of water again Also on the plus side I was pleased the invoice for my 3 day break went to my dad to pay 💰 NEGATIVES My on site villa didn’t have Sky TV or Netflix or a chez longue so I complained to the big authorities and they told me to go away (at least I think that’s what they meant !) Overall once they fix the tv facilities I would recommend it highly Who needs Mauritius or the Seychelles when this is available Going home today where my regal demands will definitely be upscaled Well…. When you’re used to being spoiled it has to continue in my “other” home I Ain’t standing for anything less than the high quality treatment I got from these beautiful people See you all soon for my stitches to come out thank you to the entire practice for welcoming me like the celebrity I am Love you all there Freddie xxx

I wish I could give more stars because nothing compares to the amazing care they’ve given to my girl Bo. Within minutes of me noticing she was unwell I had called and made my way to the practice where we were seen immediately. They made us feel so important. The staff were incredible even down to the receptionists who are more than just a receptionist, they’re the first people you speak with when you are concerned for your animal, they make you feel so welcome and cared for. Time was immediately put aside even at the closing time of the practice to operate on her and they kept me informed at every moment. The surgery went well and I was so adamant to pick her up at 9pm when it was done cause I wanted her back at home (I have severe anxiety) and I also worry for Bo as she’s needy but also a typical dachshund and can be noisy and that worried me that she wouldn’t get as much attention/fuss as other dogs however they fully reassured me and made me understand that she was safer with them overnight, to the point I trusted them completely with her and decided she was better off there and I was even allowed the time to bring her blanket round. Fast forward Just 5 days after her surgery, she has bounced back and I just can’t get over the difference and that wouldn’t be the case without the support from Cockburn and I am sincerely grateful. What an amazing team, thank you so much.

I've had my dog Rue registered here since she was a puppy, recently she had an injury which meant weekly check ups, Diane was absolutely wonderful with her and incredibly thorough. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made sure I felt reassured at each stage, it was obvious how much she cared about Rue’s progress and recovery at each appointment. The reception team have always been so friendly and helpful too, I would definitely recommend Cockburn’s.

The team here are like family! Always a warm welcome, a great atmosphere and more so helpful. We have four dogs and visit often as two have ongoing ailments and always know my voice on phone and make a fuss of the girls. I am a qualified vet nurse and I can’t fault all their team and they look after everyone and make you feel valued and care

Wonderful vets. Serena has been brilliant with Rodney, my beautiful Wolfhound X, who has a painful paw condition. He wags his tail when he sees her, which says it all. She's also been brilliant with me! I can't bear it when he is in pain, and she's answered all my questions skillfully and with great patience. Thank you so much.

Still heart broken over the loss of my bear where my chow chow was not treated and no investigation to why he stopped eating and drinking, after strong pain relief. Told stubborn chow,, no thorougher checks and VCMS was not able to fully support after no postmortem. I was not listened to and resulted in OOH and Jaffa died aged 3yrs after being a healthy chow despite many visits. Picture at the vets waiting for help, sadly didn’t get it.
