Minnie+Mia are our two wee rescue cats. They're 7yrs old now, and house cats. They needed their claws clipped but it's always such a trauma for them even just leaving the house, and going in the car, never mind a visit to the vets! We have to administer meds before we go, which helps to an extent, but Ian (the vet) was amazing with them. He has a very calm & patient demeanour, which really helped. We liked the fact that we both got to stay with them, although it did require Cat Dad to help restrain them. 🙄 Overall, what is always a traumatic visit, was kept to a minimum for our kitties, and that's what really matters 🐈🐈

Had to have our poor wee fella euthanised yesterday as he was poorly with Dementia and had suffered a seizure and was in a lot of pain, tired and ready to go to his next life. He was 15 years old and had led a great, varied and fun life for all those years. Devastated from his loss but the lovely and caring staff dealt with our guilt, worries and tears and with amazing care and love prevented him suffering any more. He went peacefully and serenely. Thank you all so much for the kindness you showed us and the care and love you showed our wee man. It will take a long time to get over his loss. I will leave a picture here of him showing just what a character he was...

Having recently moved to Cumnock with our 15 year old Westie 'Maggie' who had Westie lung we had only just registered her at Crossriggs when she deterioated very suddenly, Carol the vet who attended to Maggie was very understanding and caring as ultimately we had to make that dreaded decision to let her go. I can't thank you all enough for your kindness at a very emotional and difficult time for us, we are still grieving 3 weeks on..... I would recommend Crossriggs as an excellent veterinary practice for your pets June & Michael
