Welcome to Dunedin Veterinary Centre, a friendly and inviting veterinary practice located in the beautiful town of Dunbar in East Lothian, Scotland. The practice is owned and operated by Mr Christopher Monk, a highly qualified veterinary surgeon, and Mrs Margot Hunter, who is also a BVMS MRCVS partner in the business.

Dunedin Veterinary Centre is dedicated to providing top-notch veterinary care to cats, dogs, birds, and small mammals. The practice prides itself in providing personal, compassionate and high-quality professional care to pets and their owners.

The veterinary centre is located in a peaceful and serene environment that provides patients with a calm and relaxing atmosphere. Dunedin Veterinary Centre’s location in East Lothian gives it an excellent catchment area that covers not only Dunbar itself but also surrounding areas. Pets and their owners will have a smooth ride to the practice, with ample parking available right outside our door.

The Centre is open Monday to Saturday, with extended hours Monday through Friday from 9 am to 6 pm, and from 10.30 am to noon on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays but have a message service active for clients needing assistance outwith opening hours. This arrangement ensures that pet owners have access to veterinary care at convenient times.

Dunedin Veterinary Centre is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities for diagnosis and treatment of pets. Medical procedures and surgeries are carried out in a modern and fully equipped operating theatre. Our team of skilled veterinary surgeons, which includes Mr Christopher Monk and Mrs Margot Hunter, are always available to provide the best medical advice and treatment available.

In addition to veterinary services, we offer several other facilities to enhance the bond between pets and their owners. Pet grooming and fun activities for pets are available at the practice. Pet owners can also take advantage of our practice interests, where we invite other combined interest members to enjoy a variety of activities based on shared interests and skills.
