Really positive experience at Hunt & Harris. Lovely, welcoming staff who clearly care. We were seen on time, and the clinic is clean, calm, and stress-free for our cats. Would definitely recommend.

I honestly cannot recommend Simon highly enough. He has supported me through caring for over 20 cats, many with complex and ongoing health issues, and throughout it all he has been nothing short of exceptional. He is incredibly knowledgeable and has a real gift for diagnostics — often identifying issues accurately without immediately resorting to expensive or unnecessary testing. That level of skill, combined with his experience, is something you just don’t come across anymore. What truly sets him apart, though, is his character. He is calm under pressure, compassionate, and genuinely cares — not just about the animals, but about the people caring for them too. He’s always available when needed, even out of hours, which has been an absolute lifeline on more than one occasion. He has a great sense of humour and an ability to ease even the most stressful or emotional situations, which makes a huge difference when you’re dealing with poorly animals. There’s a real sense of integrity in everything he does — you trust him completely because you know his priority is always what’s best for the animal. He has an “old school” approach, but in the best possible way — grounded in experience, practical knowledge, and genuine passion — and it works incredibly well even in today’s modern veterinary world. Quite simply, he’s one of the good ones, and I feel very lucky to have him supporting me and my cats.

Really good independent vets happy to bring my cat here. Was very pleased with his neuter and that he didn’t have to wear a cone. Won’t charge you an arm and leg for the sake of it, and actually come up with affordable solutions.

Took one of my cats today and the service was amazing. Very knowledgeable and diagnosed her quickly. I have never seen my girl so comfortable with a new stranger ever, I think she knows they were the best. I cannot thank Simon enough for today.

I took my cat to Hunt & Harris after a very disappointing visit to Vets 4 Pets Beckton. Simon was a very knowledgeable and caring vet, very friendly and listened well and put my mind at rest. He made me feel at ease and my cat was not distressed after being examined. He is a true asset to the team. Also thank you to Louise for picking up my concerns very quickly and liaising with Simon to get me booked in ASAP. Brilliant team can't thank them enough 🥰

A fabulous practice with kind , friendly and knowledgeable vets. The care of their furry patients and their owners at the forefront of the business. I was kept well informed during the whole of my pets stay and the photo sent of our poorly guinea pig during his stay meant the world to my daughter. Cannot thank Simon enough. Would highly recommend this practice to everyone!

Fantastic help and treatment from this excellent local vet practice. Emergency treatment given for my dog who had managed to try to consume his own weight in chocolate! We're very lucky to have such a great facility in our village, Simon and Louise are both excellent with the animals and great to chat with. Nothing is too much trouble. Highly recommended :-)
