Lovely veterinary nurse did my cat's 6 month check up and put the flea treatment on her neck with speed and efficiency. Never had a problem at Medivet, apart from the costs sometimes, but it's the same everywhere. We subscribe to the monthly pay plan which means check ups, flea and worming meds are paid for, and initial consultations are free. The service is always excellent and it's in a convenient place for me to get to.

Fron the vets to the staff - everyone supported the treatment of our golden with great care. They were proactive in providing us the earliest dates for the surgery and managing our insurance.

Nik is one of the best vets i have ever met, he and the team have created a true community practice in st albans; very helpful , extremely knowledgable , available, supportive and transparent. Been taking my Vizsla since birth and Nik has helped us overcome some real tricky situations !

I can’t say enough good things about the whole Medivet St Albans practice. The entire team is compassionate, knowledgeable, and truly cares about every animal that comes through their doors. They always take the time to explain things clearly, answer all my questions, and make sure my pet feels comfortable and safe. Rosie and Nick are the most friendly vets I ever had chance to met! I always feel safe with Pretzel and Misty.

EeVee has never enjoyed visiting the Vet, but she is less stressed when visiting Medivet. She is treated in a very careful, gentle and thoughtful manner whilst being examined. Fortunately she enjoys good health so her experience is less stressful. This is all due to the Medivet team, from Reception, Nurse and of course your Vet. Together they all make a difference!

Joined Medivets from suggestions from my local cat owners group in St. albans as my local vet had closed down. And my experience with another vet was very poor My first major experience with Medivets was when my Daenerys was throwing up a lot and looked weak I took her in the next day and was seen by one of their vets who prescribed some items and took a blood test. Got a call from one of the vets Nick within a few hours asking me if I can bring Daenerys in as hes seen some bad readings in her kidneys. Took her straight in They kept her stable for three nights and then referred me to RVC, who were able to continue the treatment. She had two surgeries and three blood transfusions, and she has made it. Thanks to the prompt action of getting Daenerys back to the vets on the same day. I am also very grateful for Nick's phoning and asking for updates on Daenerys, something I didn't expect but appreciated They helped save her life

A massive thank you to Taymar, I felt reassured leaving my little friend with her after he passed away. She made sure my wishes were fulfilled and I received even more little touches which was a lovely surprise and so heart warming 🫶🏼 the receptionist, a young lady with light hair, was so compassionate when I came to collect the ashes. Couldn’t recommend them enough 💓
