The veterinary surgery department is headed by partners Mr David Bartram, Mr David Dugdale, Mr Andrew Edgar, Mr Benoit Herinckx, and Dr Mark Hillyer, who are all committed to providing the best possible care for all their clients’ horses and equines. The department is equipped with cutting-edge medical technology, enabling the surgeons to perform a wide range of surgical procedures, from routine castrations to complex joint surgeries.
The practice also has a dedicated team of nursing staff who are all fully trained and qualified to provide first-class care. The team of five veterinary nurses, led by Miss Samantha Bradshaw, is always on hand to provide invaluable assistance and support to the veterinary surgeons. Additionally, Newmarket Equine Hospital has a team of specialists who treat complex and unusual cases. Although this team is small and its members are not named, they are all highly experienced and steadily monitored to maintain our care standards.

These include ample client parking spaces, disabled access to the clinic, and weekend opening hours, so even those with the busiest schedules can ensure their pets receive the care they deserve.
