Oaklands Vet Centre

EDUARDO!!! Today i sadly had to call an emergency vet visit for my foal, how on earth can I put into words the care Eduardo gave my horse?! Sat for hours with us and thoroughly worked on her in the freezing cold, and even went as far as calling two locals hospitals for me trying to get the overall costs on her soon to be hospital visit down as much as possible, giving me after care advise, and even helping us load this panicked foal onto our trailer. I cannot thank you enough for your professionalism, skill, Empathy and above all just being caring human. Thankyou mate!! And thankyou, Oaklands Vetinary team!

Massive THANKYOU to the fantastic team at Oaklands. My elderly dog was in a bad way with his teeth but they guided and gave reassurance from the start to go through with procedure (not an easy decision when he is 15 ) on the day treated him like he was their own special fur baby , explained everything and called me as soon as they could to let me know all was well. On picking him up I was very impressed with the time they took to tell and show me all about what they had done. Care these people showed , vets, nurses, reception is incredible and very much appreciated.

Our cat had developed several diseases and needed regular vet visits and last minute appointments, especially this year. Our Ingleby vets of almost 10 years started having serious staffing issues and their service declined rapidly. I am so glad we moved to Oaklands in June, and I wish we had done it sooner. Oaklands vets provided excellent care for our beloved Mrs Snuffles in the last 3 months of her life, and helped us say goodbye to her at the right time. We will keep the sympathy card with her paw print forever.

We’ve recently moved to Oaklands and it was 100% the best thing we’ve ever done. The care of the reception staff, the time spent by Jonathan Fletcher who was incredible with our insanely anxious rabbit, they spoke to us in a way that made sense, was clear on the next steps and made the entire process very comfortable and transparent. We didn’t feel disregarded or ignored - he took the time to listen and organised a follow up appointment to review and discuss further steps and we honestly couldn’t fault him, the supporting nurse or the practice. Thank you so much again!

I have been left shaken up and completely gobsmacked with this vet practice after many years of trust and loyalty to their service today. Do not trust them their communication is terrible and all they care about is MONEY. Charging double if not triple for vet care when vets down the road charge a fraction of their cost. My pet did not Recieve much needed care today because of their poor communication which has resulted in a suffering animal and further trouble and expense to go else where. I will be leaving with a bad taste I'm my mouth and would urge people to do their research before choosing this practice to care for their animals. Shame on you Oaklands

Very very unprofessional!! Money greedy!! No care and compassion. Receptionist beyond rude and the manager WOW embarrassing!! After the way they spoke to me I would certainly not trust them with my animals!! I have my own company with 28 members of staff and if anyone of them spoke the way I was spoke to today they wouldn't be in a job!! A soft approach and an explanation would of gone down better then immediate demands for money and been shouted over. Avoid!
