All of the staff at Copeland Vets are brilliant. The receptionists are friendly and always say hi to Rosie and give her treats which helps her feel more comfortable. The only vet we have seen so far is Helen, who has been incredibly patient and gentle with Rosie (Who hates getting her nails done). Helen has taken her time and made sure that the experience isn't too scary or painful and given us great recommendations for things to try. She is also really thorough in general picking up on little things and ensuring she does a full check every time she sees her.

We came to Copelands as a second opinion for our rescue dog Dexter after his anxiety suddenly got worse. Our previous vets had said there was nothing to be done and had left us in a difficult position. Copelands on the other hand were extremely accommodating, not only did they listen to our concerns and took Dexters full history from his other vets, they even made reasonable adjustments for Dex to get safely in and out of the practice. I was blown away by their kindness and compassion shown to both myself and Dexter. We came away with a management plan and as new customers to the Copeland practice. Thank you so much.

We’ve used Copelands for 6 years since we got our puppy. They have always been amazing, very caring and always answer any questions you have. We’re currently going through an emigration process to Australia and their knowledge on the whole process has been fantastic. I would definitely recommend Copelands if you are trying to choose a vet.

Where to start. Everyone at this practice, cares for you and your pet. We’ve been with them for 14 and a half years and only just recently said goodbye to our gorgeous old lad George last week and I wanted to put my thanks in to words. To their wonderful reception staff, Sue, Linda, Trish and Hannah. Thank you for keeping us company while waiting for our appointments. Thank you for the laughs along the way and the comfort you provided through tough times. You are in integral part of this organisation and without you all, there’s no Copeland Vets. You care, we’ve felt it from day one. Finally, thank you for being there when we had to make the toughest decision of our lives, we will remember you forever and will pop in whenever we can. Expect chocolates every Christmas and time for a gossip. For anyone reading, treat these women with care and respect, they are truly amazing. To their wonderful nurses, Amanda, Hariane, Jenny and Nic, thank you for holding our boy when nails needed removing, when teeth needed cleaning, for his monthly allergy injections, for his gland emptying and much more. Most importantly thank you for being beside our boy when we weren’t able to. You always brought him back to us with a smile and his tail wagging. Nicola especially, for the many stories we’ve shared along the way, for the countless claim forms and connection we’ve made with you, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Finally to Jean and Helen, the kind hearted, and wonderful vets who have kept our boy as healthy as can be for so long. There aren’t enough words to thank you. If you’re a client of Copeland’s, you’re in such good hands. Treat them both with kindness because they’re wonderful. Helen in particular, we can’t even begin to thank you, you’ve seen George grow from a pup to an old, grumpy, wonderful, kind hearted dog. You were always the one we trusted the most with our lad’s life and we’re glad you were there with us at the end. Thank you so much. In conclusion, and congratulations if you’ve made it this far. We’ve been clients for almost 15 years and we’ve always felt cared for as if we were their own family. A wonderful group of people who genuinely care about your pets. Cannot fault this vet at all. I rang in floods of tears to make an appointment for my guinea pig who had suddenly became very unwell ( how the receptionist could even understand what i was saying was incredible ) I was given an appointment within the hour and on arrival i explained that i thought she had passed away in the car on the way there. We were still promptly seen by the vet who very kindly and sympathetically told me she had indeed passed. She even gave me a box for her and drew a heart on it. I then went out to the front desk to be told there was no charge. The kindness of these people really helped me and my daughters at such a sad time for us.

Excellent vet practice. We moved 20 miles away but still make the journey to see the practice. I can almost always arrange an appointment the same day and the staff are superb. The dogs don't mind going as they are put at ease, fussed and offered treats. The vets are highly experienced and don't push invasive treatments where conservative treatment is better for the animal. Definitely worth the long trip. Their pet health club is super value for money. One of our dogs had a recent operation and the care was faultless. We will continue to use them for the foreseeable future.

I have been a customer of Copelands Vets since they opened. In that time 2 cats and 3 dogs have I never not paid a bill. I have received a letter 24.07.25 with a bill for a £10 under payment ...one I was not aware of despite my dog recently been in for treatment ...no issues. On the 31.07.25 I get another letter (1 week apart) threatening me with fines if not paid. This underpayment was the fault of CVS not doing there calculations correctly at the time of treatment back in January. Never will I deal with these vets again. Cost them more in postage and paper than the £10 owed due to their poor admin. Shocking treatment.

I have taken my dog Jessie to Copeland vets from a puppy she has always had the best of treatment. The vets are exceptional and always explain issues in depth. The reception staff are lovely and help with any problem. Jessie is one now and has got to know the staff which is good she goes through the vets door wagging her tail .
