My cocker spaniel took unwell after eating something he shouldn’t which caused seizures and intense shaking. I rushed him down to Vets Now for their out of hours treatment, they wasted no time in taking him immediately for treatment, kept him in over night and he made a full recovery. After speaking to them the next day they advised he would have died had he not have been brought in as soon as he was but it was really there quick treatment and extensive knowledge which saved him. Thank you again.

My dog had a sudden worsening of her illness on a bank holiday. The call centre sorted me out with an appointment immediately with my nearest Vets Now clinic. They gave me directions and an immediate quote for the consultation. The receptionists and the vet were kind, caring and very thorough. They sourced more affordable surgery for my dog than my local specialist vet and supported me through the referral. The only downside was the cost of consultation but it was a bank holiday, so to be expected.

Vet and nurses were fabulous. We were greeted on arrival, asked to sit and wait, although not for long, my dog was stressed and i took it on myself to sit in one of the empty treatment rooms. The nurse came to find us and didn't mind us sitting in the other room whilst waiting. The nurse took details and the vet was finishing up in surgery but came out as soon as she could to see to my dog. The vet attempted to help my dog to give birth naturally but she ended up needing an emergency c section. The vet had to see to x2 other animals prior to operating which made me feel anxious as baby was breech. I called an hour later and was told x2 puppies had just been delivered safely. Unfortunately my dog brought up fluids when moved from one room to another where the tube had dislodged. The vet explained this and told us what to look out for. Both puppies were born safely and mother and puppies were home within a few hours. Unfotunately i didn"t have a box with me that i could put the puppies in whilst travelling home but a friendly customer gave us her dogs blanket and we put that inside a bag for life for safe travels. All staff were wondeful. I can't fault the team but the cost was much more than I thought it would have been- there was no option of a payment plan but i literally paid my last penny to ensure my dog and her puppies could get the best care possible, and that they did! My dog has a post-op appointment at our local vet today and I'm sure they will be happy with the surgery- such a clean and tidy wound. Thank you- I will be returning the towel they wrapped my dog in and if they need any bedding donated, I love to crochet and knit and would like to contribute if allowed.

Took my dog to out of hours, first time we’d been in this situation so didn’t know what to expect. The cost was disgusting and although they gave her anti sickness and pain relief and did a quick check for a well known virus no other checks done. No bloods, no eyes, ears, mouth, felt for obvious lumps etc. taking her to another vet’s the next morning was so much more thorough and well worth the consultation fee but I feel this out of hours consultation fell very short of what should have been checked

The service here was good, this is an out of hours vet which cover for my vets, Vets4Pets. It very very expensive, a Consult is £302. I would advise the new Animal Trust nearby at Teeside open 24/7 and £79 for the same thorough service.

Attended emergency appointment recently with my mams westie. He was 15 and had a lot of health issues going on. After long chat with Hannah the vet it was decided it was his time to go. The care and attention he received and also telling us what was happening was really outstanding. Best vet I’ve ever met, care and compassionate. RIP sonny 🌈

I had to call Vets Now at 1am as my dog Reggie was suffering from post op complications. The nurse met me at the door and immediately made me feel at ease. The Vet on call was amazing, immediately got Reggie out of pain, took his blood and scanned him. He then explained the options that I had and recommended that I go straight to my own Vet as soon as they opened as Reg was not in immediate danger. He phoned them himself before I got there! Reg needed a second operation that day. Thank you for your kind and considerate care.

Directions sent were spot on, got to the door and announced our arrival and were created immediately at the door and taken through to the waiting room. We were informed of how long the wait would be and my pet was weighed. The vet was wonderful and very informative. Everything was explained about the treatment my dog needed and I was informed of how much the costs could be in total as was asked if this was ok. I felt very confident and at ease leaving my fur baby in their capable hands.
