We used vet's now for when my boy Django started showing signs of bloat, the staff were amazing the only downside is the price. But it would've be worth it if they could've saved him.

We had to call the out-of-hours vet, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful. Even over the phone, they were incredibly patient, calm, and reassuring. They took the time to listen properly, didn’t rush the conversation, and gave clear, practical advice that really helped in a stressful situation. You could tell they genuinely cared, even without seeing us in person. Such a comforting experience. Thank you

My 17yr old dog has developed a brain tumour and suffers with seizures. He had a seizure and became poorly. After a phone we got seen to fairly soon and he was treated more or less straight away. We are truly grateful for their help at a very stressful time

My dog was really ill and I dont feel the vet was very sympathetic to that or took things into consideration. My dog visited my normal vets the next day and had to be put to sleep. I also feel that the prices charged are completely unnecessary. Charging over £300 just for an appointment out of hours is unnecessary.

We just saw Manos at Vets Now (emergency one, as it's a Sunday) with my cat, Leo. He was absolutely fantastic with him. Really good vet. Took time to explain everything. Very good with the animals and didn't rush the appointment. Credit to the vet profession. Thank you again, Manos

An appointment was made to see my immediately, and his examination and treatment was given with genuine care and compassion. I felt that his treatment was appropriate and had a positive outcome, and no unnecessary test or treatment where suggested or carried out. Lovely staff. Would use this practice again.

Updated a day ago Disgraceful service and care Disgraceful service and care. Our 1 yr old puppy got bitten or stung on his head?. Over the weekend he began bleeding then that bleeding turned to a mucus, it covered his head ears and neck. He was scratching frantically and crying, it was Almost like he was being cocooned. I called this awful place at approx 4am and was told by a non english lady, (wouldnt give name, so its my only way of identifying) it’s not an emergency if you came it would be 120 pounds but theres no point coming. Rang again during day after he was worse, got the same non caring attitude. Next day Sunday we just took him, price told was 280 then said I was told incorrect amount the day before. The cost was not an issue but Still saying not an emergency. When we arrived we were told we would be waiting hours !. So went home and made appointment with our wonderful proper vet. I was called in the morning and asked to bring him into his vets urgently. At the moment they have kept him in and we are at home waiting. What chance do our loved pets have if "vets now" is the ONLY out of hours care in our City. Plus if they had bothered to look at him they then want to claim your insurance for you. That would never have happened, I'm certain they would have used up his whole allowance and greedily took it all with add ons. I took a photo of him waiting but we Were told the wait would be hours! Did not even look at or touch him. He was left standing shaking & quivering, he in reception. He was confused and afraid Picture 2 was the state he was in, but you didn't look did you vets Now? Our wonderful vet peel in Beverley fixed him. I've sent in my complaint email. Please Don't reply that it's unusual just look at 1 star reviews of vets now across the UK. Thank God for his usual vet and I've since learnt there is a 24hr emergency vet at market weighton so if you have a car you never need to visit vets now if your pet can make the journey. Date of experience: 02 June 2024
