Was treated absolutely disgustingly today. We had a major emergency with our dog, we DID try call prior, we was on their line for 20 minutes and no one answered so by the time the 20 mins had passed waiting for an answer, we had arrived, our dogs paw was pouring of blood for almost 40 minutes at this point, went and explained the situation to the receptionist and he was so rude, he told us “because your a walk in and didn’t call ahead you can be waiting up to 6 hours” AFTER we had explained that we DID try calling, all he said to that was “well I appreciate that” No sorry or anything, just to find out their phone lines were down, even after saying our dog was pouring of blood and wasn’t stopping. The way he was answering was so rude, like we was bothering him, there was no need to be so rude and dismissive especially in an emergency, so we had to travel ANOTHER 20 minutes to go to another vet that saw her without question, shocking behaviour from this receptionist today. 😡

I took my little dog to aston pdsa after he had apparently dislocated his back leg ,told to give him 6 weeks of cage rest then they would take a xray to check if there was no improvement. We have had a little man from 8 weeks old and to help my son who is on the spectrum, which it did. I walked in with ollie in my arms as he couldn't walk . I waited 10 minutes for reception to come ,then asked for my £25 contribution .I had to put him on the floor whilst I got my money for them.unfortunately he wet him self. There was a member of staff with cleaning bucket,i asked could she just wipe ollies wee as I was trying to pay there money. She looked at me and said ,there is a mop bucket in the corner, thankfully there were people waiting to be seen that took ollie while I cleaned up ,where was there heath and safely policy if a person may slip on that floor before I had paid there money. I went in to see the vet she was so insensitive and just throwing the thousands of pounds it would cost ,I would be thinking of myself to keep him . No option of xray. Then when he had gone dragged blankets away saying there mine. Alot happened in between with her which i won't bore you with. But please go with your own instinct and don't go wrong like i did .

Nothing but praise for this veterinary and the staff that work here. For around a year I would say they have treated my cat Bonnie. They have give her everything she needed to make her health improve. But unfortunately Wednesday me and my mother decided it was her time to go to sleep after 16 years of living a fulfilled life. The vets who was with us that day give us all the time we needed and let us say our final goodbyes. They were compassionate and kind not only to Bonnie but to me and my mother. I will forever be grateful to the every one we encountered that day. They made a very hard day a lot better despite them being busy. Thank you so much 💕

Hello all pet owners and lovers. This was our first appointment and the service was wonderful. Staff on desk were helpful and professional. The vet was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and also alleviated our fears. They should in my belief receive more help be that monetary donations.. volunteer.. and items to assist the team/company. Thank you PDSA. Merry Christmas to you all and all your followers xxx Bridget and Tom Dixon XXX

Called these for help and advice today and what a joke it was. My call was answered by a totally unempathetic rude lady today to which I was furious, her overall and only main concern was being registered and had no concern for my dog at all. While I understand they are no longer taking new registrations which is fine I get it, upon asking for help to be directed to someone else that can help she gave me a number for a place that doesn't even do vetinary care how stupid so my dog has now suffered longer than he needed to .. can't see us fine no problem.. but at least get your information right when giving advice and maybe lower the tone and be a bit more empathetic to worrying dog owners.

I just want to say a huge thank you to all the staff at the PDSA Aston for there great work and understanding, especially a vetinary nurse named Charlotte McEwan. I took my little dog Honey there yesterday at 4.15pm without an appointment and was seen almost immediately, she was very ill and it turned to be end of life kidney failure and in a lot of pain. The best and kindest thing as heartbreaking as it was , was to put her to sleep and I couldn't wished for a more understanding and attentive vetinary nurse Charlotte made everything more bearable and really did understand and gave us time alone with Honey and never rushed us , I really couldn't asked for a better member of staff in the time of our need, thank you Charlotte and the rest of the PDSA for all your help with Honey 🙏

I had went to see a vet called “CHARLOTTE” a couple of days ago the black lady she was very rude had a attitude my dog is very nervous an he can get very overwhelmed which makes him seem aggressive she didn’t bother to greet my pet to make him feel comfortable or anything I had taken measures to make sure that he didn’t bite I brought him a muzzle from home due to him being a flat faced breed he an only have certain ones she then tried to recommend him having one that wasn’t suitable for his breed then when my dog had very very slightly nipped her she then started rolling her eyes an taking it out on me like it was my fault when I had asked her for her name she refused to give it me very immaturely an told me I had to asked the front desk she didn’t even bother to check my dog over properly I get that it’s reduced cost service an everyone does the best they can but I always make atleast a 25-30 donation an I expect to be treated with the respect especially by the veterinary staff this vet just looked like she didn’t want to be there i thought maybe she was having a bad day but I’ve had her before an her attitude is always like this
