I have been a customer of the lodge veterinary centre for over thirty years, I visit the practice at least twice a week and I have not one single complaint about their service to my family and I and ultimately my pets who they care for.. I have to say both Fintan and Catherine are exceptional senior vets , Catherine and her diligence have allowed me to have a further two and a half years with my beautiful dog Paddy due to her methodical approach in spotting his cancer very early on from a particle that had started to grow again ,after the first surgery he had already had to remove his anal gland’s previously. I also had a Persian cat called Milly who had a tumour in the back of her eye, again that Catherine spotted and was able to be removed without me incurring huge referral vet fees at another surgery by Catherine. Catherine is always about the patient and they are always at the forefront in her medical care this is something I find very comforting to know especially as a person who is very pro animal rights over anything else. When the time came for Paddy to go across the rainbow bridge, the empathy and compassion I received from Catherine and Kayleigh the veterinary care assistant was second to none, and the professional advice given to me very much helped in my decision making process to allow my dog Paddy to become pain free. Fintan the vet is just a joy, not only is he an exceptional dentist and has kept my cat who is now tooth free and pain free alive for a further fifteen years and is now at the tender age of 19 years old and living her best life thanks to Fintan. Most recently Fintan has removed over 16 teeth, my rescue dog suzie and also took her out of a large amount of immeasurable pain when with his attention to detail noticed a fistula in the root of her mouth to her nose and fixed this immediately. Thanks to Fintan suzie is now pain free. Fintan also is very knowledgeable on all aspects of veterinary care, but if you aren’t sure about something he will explain clearly to you or give you one of his famous diagrams on his white board. 😊 Lauren and Dominic are also both fantastic vets and have been instrumental in keeping my animals healthy and alive. Then we have lovely Louise the receptionist not only is she a pleasure to see when you first enter the reception, but she also shows genuine care and compassion to customers especially when you have just lost a loved on. The nurses and the care staff are also all very friendly and supportive whenever I go into the practice. Stacy, Kayleigh, Kelly, Holly, Megan, Vicky and not forgetting Kim are all a great asset to this practice. From my experience I would not recommend anywhere else to have your animals to be treated, and I still currently have five more fur babies on there register so I am sure I will be regularly visiting the practice. A five star recommendation does not speak highly enough for this practice and there members of staff.

These are the best vets out there. I have always used these vets for many years and i trust them with my dog. Dont go anywhere else I decided to take my dog to a closer vets as she had a lump come up on her eye I thought it was just a bite and some eye drops and antibiotics would do the trick how wrong was I. The vets told me she needed an operation and would cost me over 2k I was not happy as they never even examined her properly. So I decided I wanted a 2nd option so back to the lodge I went i should have come here in the 1st place. They fully examined her yes she needed an operation but it wasn't as bad as the other vets made out. They checked her over made sure she was fit for the operation as she is an old girl. Understanding all the risk with her operation but also reassuring that she was healthy. I booked her in for the next day the operation went extremely well and I have a very happy dog again with a huge saving as this only cost £700. The lodge are not money greedy or think everyone has insurance so they can rip you off. they truly care for your pets you can see they love animals. Thank you too your team. Amazing vets.

I can't speak highly enough of Fintan and the team at The Lodge. Everyone has been polite, friendly and kind. We have had 2 sets of specialist dental extractions with my cats and Fintan has done everything that he could to support us with this. Highly recommend for customer service, patient support and kindness and professional excellence. Thank you

Absolutely brilliant staff, super friendly and helpful, the prices are so much lower than else where, for example we paid around £55 for what other vets quoted £85+ for. Honestly I will be making this my regular vets in the future thank you. You helped us care for a tiny baby while we looked for a permanent foster.

We had to take our 50kg boy to the team today as an emergency, losing blood and he was terrified. We can honestly say the whole team from start to finish were incredible, so patient with him and very informative. Happy to have such a great vet. Thank you all so much for making an extremely stressful experience so much more comfortable x

Lovely staff and lots of excitement over our cat which was unexpected considering how much time they spend with domestic animals. Very happy with the service and they made our boy feel significantly less hissy than usual.
