Reception staff need to improve their behaviour. I am not happy the way they interacted. Give due respect and importance and treat everyone equally though from different nationalities

Waited from 530pm until 7pm i was the last person left in the building. Asked the receptionist if we had been booked in as it was now 6.15pm my appointment was 5.45pm to be told we should be next i explained that my cat had been in his box since 5pm very hot day. It was suggested I either change the appointment or my cat could be put in a kennel to cool down this was a ridiculous suggestion and I was unable to re book. 645pm I asked again and asked the receptionist if I was deliberately put to the bottom of the list. Every single person left. The vet told me that by error my booking was moved to a 2nd page which meant I was left until last. I also could see the receptionist telling the other receptionist what gad happened. I know this error was done deliberately.

Moved my dog to practice and they have always been so kind, caring and supportive, well knowledgeable and willing to go above and beyond to make a reactive dog comfortable. Today, I took a poorly bunny which was abandoned and they saw us within ten minutes, I am so appreciative of the compassion shown today and can’t recommend the service from you all enough. Thankyou for reminding me of the kindness of humanity and the love we all have for animals in need.

My 2-year-old cat died after being mistreated at this clinic, and I cannot describe the level of disappointment and frustration we experienced. We brought him in multiple times over the course of a week, four visits in total. After the first visit, where a fever was identified, there was a shocking lack of proper follow-up. Basic checks were not consistently performed, and no one seemed to be closely monitoring his condition. By the second visit, he was already showing clear signs of jaundice and anaemia, serious and alarming symptoms. Yet we were simply told to continue medication and come back later. No urgency. No thorough investigation. No escalation. By the third visit, he had barely eaten for nearly a week. We were extremely worried, but instead of taking decisive action, we were repeatedly told to “wait and observe” and were given only appetite stimulants. We had to beg for hospitalisation and IV fluids ourselves. What is most upsetting is that no one ever told us how critical his condition actually was. At no point were we advised to seek emergency care or go to a better-equipped hospital. We trusted the professionals, but that trust was completely misplaced. Every visit was handled by a different vet. There was no continuity, no clear responsibility, and no sense that anyone truly understood how serious his condition had become. This was not just miscommunication. This was a failure to recognise and act on a deteriorating, life-threatening condition. Our cat might still be here if proper care and urgency had been given. Instead, we lost him. I would not wish this experience on anyone.

Thank you for getting our sick cockapoo in even though you were fully booked. As ever the staff are so kind and caring. In my opinion, even though this vets has now changed ownership and is now part of the large veterinary group Medivet, the staff are still as wonderful as ever…professional, loving to the animals and reassuring to us fur mums and dads!!

This the vet we have used for 30 plus years. Its now owned by a large conglomorate and as has been the subject of the news recently. Even though we pay a high premuim for a consultation, even if not needed (for an ongoing condition), they charge 100% (and skmetimes a lot more) mark up on the drugs they prescribe! Compared to what you can get online (BUT ONLY WITH A PRESCRIRTION)! I'm a typical pet owner and adore my animals, but when it's the "CARERS" that are putting profit and fiscal greed before the welfare of the souls WE entrust our best friends lives to. WE SHOULD BE ABLE to TRUST their health and our fiscal welbeing too! It's JUST NIT RIGHT !!!!

Lizzie the vet trimmed our very nervous frenchie and was absolutely brilliant with him. We will definitely be booking him back in with her. Her poor assistant who had to hold our dog was fantastic too but unfortunately I can't remember her name. Great service
