DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE!!! THEY DONT CARE!!! If only I could give 0 stars. I brought in a stray cat to be checked out, the second I stepped into the clinic I felt like I was being judged and as if I was crazy to bring in a cat. They started by checking if he has a chip turned out he does. Ever since they found out he was chipped the atmosphere changed they didn’t wanna deal with him and wanted to wrap up the session as quick as possible. I told them the cat is clearly neglected as he had a heavily injured paw and was never taken to the vet to get treated by the owner and other concerning incidents happened. Regardless of that doctor saskia (if you could call her an appropriate doctor) only said “that’s unfortunate”, I raised my concern multiple times but it fell upon deaf ears. When I was walking out all three of the staff members starred at me as if I had just committed a crime. I will definitely avoid this place as much as I possibly can. I had to chase them for an update which I’m sorry it’s your job not mine! When I reiterated that the a is NEGLECTED the person on the phone only said “oh I see”. Please get better staff for pets as these people really do not care enough!!!!!

I am extremely disappointed with the service my partner received at this veterinary clinic. In our personal experience, he went in just to get our pet’s first vaccine, but somehow ended up being signed up for a £500 payment plan and charged for several vaccines that he never fully received. The clinic never sent any reminders for the remaining vaccines, and despite having paid, they later refused to provide them. And today was the last straw. We took our dog in for diarrhoea, and they tried to charge us £200 for some medication, on top of billing us for a consultation without informing us beforehand (and what we supposed would be included on the 500£) . It genuinely felt like they were adding charges at every opportunity. From our perspective, this clinic takes advantage of people’s lack of experience and pushes unnecessary costs. The whole experience has felt misleading, unprofessional, and incredibly frustrating. In our honest opinion, this place seems far more interested in making money than in caring for pets or being transparent with their clients. If you want a place that is reliable, transparent, and doesn’t try to take advantage of you, we strongly recommend going to Pets at Home instead. Our experience with them has always been honest and straightforward — nothing like what happened here. Be very careful – we will never go back. If you was scammed by this company as well please look for me and text me on Instagram or Facebook and we can make a claim with the authorities together

09/09/2025 After tomorrow I will go to another vet. Numerous times we were told that our dog needed an operation as she’s got sepsis and a womb infection which was told to us from a scan. We were told it’s an emergency and need to operate as soon as. I said I want to get a blood test and after the results we were told we were still told we still need to get an operation. Our dog was put on a drip and anti biotics. After a few hours on my return to the surgery we were told it’s now a urine infection and her liver/kidney are infected. So initially beforehand we were told “she needs surgery but it’s a 50/50 chance she will survive”, now it’s a urine infection and might be a liver/kidney infection. It’s monetary values over the welfare of our dog. We spent £700 on the day and then another £450 the day after but we were firm on doing the blood test and anti-biotics first as they wanted us to spend £2500 to operate on our dog on the first day where it’s not guaranteed that our dog would survive. Yet bear in mind our dog has been there for over a year and nothing was diagnosed by the vets. We cried. We cried because we were told despite getting the surgery she could still die. If that’s the case I’ll rather my dog stays with us on her last days on earth rather than being cut on in pain and then slowly dying. Today I got an email from roundwood vets 13/11/25, 2 months later. Please see below attached pictures It refers to me taking Shirley to get “free vaccinations” and from the “mayhew animal home charity” in college park NW10. The appointment was free too. Roundwood vets charges you for vaccinations, along with an appointment. Shirley is also on a waiting list to get free neutering at the mayhew too. Everyone at the mayhew is kind and caring. I always leave a donation. You can save a lot of money by going to the mayhew for vaccinations and neutering. Along with mayhew animal home I’ve taken Shirley to PDSA charity in Hendon. I took Shirley there where she went for an examination and she was ok. There’s a donation fee of £25 but i saw a person after me who could only afford £10 which was ok with the PDSA. Roundwood vets charge £111 for an emergency appointment where we still had to wait 2 hours since our intial phone call for our appointment and upon arrival 20 minutes. Any treatment done by the charities they need to inform roundwood vet as Shirley is registered there. I’m just keeping everything transparent to roundwood vets 18/11/2025 Today I received a letter via special delivery as shown below. It’s obvious it’s due to Shirleys free neutering at mayhew as I didn’t tell roundwood vets and they got the information from google review. They have given the ultimatum not to treat my dog and cat with 14 days to find another veterinarian. They suggest I give my dogs information to mayhew which I have done prior to her vaccinations. We have been registered with roundwood vets since 2008 with 2 dogs and 1 cat prior. 17 years, with a Lhasa apso, a pitt and a tabby cat. Now our current dog and cat are now welcome despite us paying not going through pet insurance. It’s been 2 months and round wood vets has never contacted myself or even replied to my review. They based their email and letter on this google review. Their letter says giving “14 days notice” as show in the picture.

The veterinary professionals at this clinic demonstrate a high level of professionalism and attentiveness. They provided exceptional care for my dog, Nemo, and consistently kept me informed regarding his condition and the progress of his treatment. I highly recommend their vet clinic.

I have no words for the amount of care Billy has received at the practice, and also for the amount of support we have received from all staff. Receptionist Yasmin, Doctor Eliza and Nurse Zara are just a few names on the list (not a specific order). They have helped us get Billy checked in spite of much delay of managing to get him to the clinic (Billy didn’t have a home and chip before, and any enclosed space like a cage would make him become very unhappy). All treatments have gone smoothly, and his ear is now recovering, he has also gained plenty of weight. The wonderful staff had also made sure that I didn’t leave without any questions answered, which is very reassuring as a first time cat mom. Thank you, Roundwood vets and see you soon for Billy’s surgery 🌸🌿💕
