Today was a very sad day as the time had finally come for my near 19 year old cat to meet her maker. Thankfully she was in the hands of the most compassionate vet I've ever come across, namely Archie Kitson. He was so caring and kind, but also professional and was very mindful of my emotional fragility. Thank you so much!

Richard has looked after both of my cats for many years, and now my dog. He is always very thorough and diligent, and we never feel rushed. Any health problems have always been dealt with very professionally and he takes a common sense approach with no unnecessary procedures.

100% +++ recommended, and I feel lucky to have had my elderly rescue dog already registered with this practice when I adopted her, as there are usually no spaces as befitting such an amazing vets. Richard advised nothing unnecessarily and was very pragmatic with a calm and caring approach about our girls prognosis and care. When the time came to have to say goodbye, this was as gentle and compassionate as it possibly could have been, making the whole heartbreaking experience that much more bearable. Thank you too Richard and the lovely& caring reception staff and all at this wonderful practice.

We were in Devon to attend a Memorial Dinner and our little 13 yr old rescue dog Barney was taken seriously ill. We contacted this practice in a real panic as we were away from our home in Sussex. Richard was prompt efficient professional and compassionate in our hour of need. Sadly Barney died but his last hours were made comfortable by this caring man. Thank you.
