Always have a fantastic experience with the vet and reception team at Otter Vets. I recently moved house, and changed vets as they were much closer… however, within two weeks I changed back to Otter Vets!! It’s worth the extra drive! Their warm reception staff always made me feel welcome, with a key point being that they made sure to check the appointment times and greet me and my dog by name - this made it feel really personalised almost like they’d remembered me (even if they hadn’t and just had an educated guess from the time it was and what was in the diary!). The vets have always seemed to have my dog’s best interest in their forefront and they’ve been helpful and informative around treatment ideas and plans. They respect my knowledge and understanding of my dogs, never being condescending or belittling. I’ve already recommended them to two of my friends and hope that they continue as a practice for as long as they can. Thank you to all the team and keep up the good work! Excellent care and treatment at a vets that I had never used before as new to the area. Took the time to listen, advise, explain possible costs involved and really felt the vet genuinely cared. My cat was taken care of very well and seemed at ease there even though unwell. I was kept updated with calls and advice. Highly recommend 😊

A wonderful local vets serving Ottery St Mary area and beyond. They look after our 2 dogs an elderly Jack Russell called Tess and a 3 year old miniature Dachound called Molly, all the staff are so hopeful and friendly you could not ask for better.
