With a heavy heart, I had to put my beloved 13 year old English Mastiff cross to sleep . Hendrik , the other vets and all the staff were very kind and understanding of the situation. They all showed great compassion for which I am extremely grateful.

I have to say how lucky and fortunate AHC are having Erica as a representative for the company !! An incredible knowledgeable Veterinarian who is so dedicated to her trade. We cannot thank her enough for resolving our Geraint’s fur issue and that she took the time and effort to make him and us so happy. Many thanks Erica !!

The team at The Animal Health Centre really care about your pets. I do not get the vibe they see you pet as a cash cow like some vets seem to do. They are compassionate and are open and transparent about the care options for your beloved pet.

Hi My name is sue. I’m just writing to say how grateful I’m for the care and compassion Hendrik gave my Timmy. In 30 yrs of having dogs I’ve never had a vet go the extra mile for one of my pets , Even to the point he came in to help my Timmy on his final journey, just before he was due to go on leave. Ive recommended a friend to take her new dog there which she has, and will keep on recommending the practice. My other two dogs will also be going there. Thanks once again Hendrik and your team .. Sue.

Despite not being registered there, we took my brother-in-law’s dog in an emergency situation, and the staff were all fantastic. So kind and empathetic. Hendrik (vet) was so lovely and calm, popping in to reassure us even though he was dealing with other booked patients. He was very busy but never made us feel like we should’ve gone somewhere else. The swapping of records so we could take Buster to his registered vet was very efficient and they talked us through the whole procedure, very clearly and calmly. We felt very looked after and just knew they were extending the same (if not more!!) care to our precious dog :)
