We lost our dog last week and have taken a while to get over the loss. We decided to deliver 3 large bags of bedding, blankets, towels etc. Plus food stuff, frontline and lots of other stuff. We had to wait outside, although after opening time, for someone to come. All they did was take the bags from the car boot walk back through the gate and thow the bags into a shed. There was no thank you and no interest in the donation. Totally unacceptable, I was tempted to ask for the bags back.

Dogs need rehoming i understand this but they put false adverts in there kennel adverts and on there facebook page. We were told our dog was an akita x labrador, when we received the chip information she was a siberian husky. Was told best placed with a family, good around other dogs, we had her a week before she attacked another dog £150 in vet bills, Was told she had had her vaccinations but upon multiple requests have failed to provide evidence of this, and are struggling to get a vet to give her the 2nd vaccination as they need evidence of the first 1 being given. Luckily she has been great with us and the kids and are not willing give up on her and for her to end up back there. So hired a trainer to work with us. Was told she was toilet trained clearly not as had multiple accidents in the house. Witnessed 2 dogs being bought in and being put straight up for rehoming without any evaluation being done on them. We didn't even get home checked because we live in leek and nobody could get to us to check so just had send photos of the back garden which we could of got off google if we wanted to. Came with kennel cough, granted gave a couple days worth of anti biotics but wasn't enough for her to fully get over it. The dogs deserve a chance at a new home but it literally is about the money for them, 1 dog out another 1 in.

We rescued our beautiful lurcher Maize from here a couple of weeks ago. He’s come on leaps and bounds in just 2 weeks time and is the most affectionate, loving, funny dog we could have wished for. There are so many beautiful dogs in this rescue in need of a loving home and rescuing a dog is one of the most challenging but amazing things you could ever do. If you’re looking for a dog please do try to rescue a fur baby in need apposed to buying from puppy farms / breeders. They’re so grateful for a full belly, warm bed and lots of cuddles!
