Our veterinary practice is open to the public six days a week, with appointments available from 8:15 am to 7:30 pm on weekdays and from 8:15 am to 12:00 pm on Saturdays. We are closed on Sundays to allow our staff to recharge and spend time with their families.

Shires Vets is home to a team of highly qualified veterinary surgeons, veterinary nurses, and advanced practitioners. Our directors, Mr. Edward Friend, Mr. William Jeffels, and Mr. Paul Snape, are all members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, and their vast experience and knowledge in the field of veterinary medicine are highly respected.

Our team of veterinary nurses, led by Miss Lisa Woodhouse, are fully qualified and experienced in providing care and support to your beloved animals. They undergo rigorous training to stay up-to-date with the latest veterinary best practices and procedures.

At Shires Vets, we take pride in our modern facilities, which are designed to ensure the comfort and safety of your pets. Our client car park provides convenient and accessible parking for your vehicles. We also offer disabled public access to ensure that all our clients, regardless of their physical abilities, can easily access our facilities.
