The whole team here are absolutely incredible. Always so lovely, understanding and caring. My dog regularly sees Michal and Liv and despite her being rather boisterous they're both amazing with her. She has lots of allergies/intolerances, lots of sass and is dog reactive and they're so caring towards these things - seeing us in the downstairs consult rooms so she doesn't have to sit in reception, and organising appointments for the quieter times of the day. Care here is second to none ♥️

My dog Buddy comes for hydrotherapy and laser treatment with Molly, and the care he gets means so much to me. Molly is amazing — so knowledgeable, patient, and gentle with him. She always makes such a fuss of Buddy, and you can tell she genuinely cares. He absolutely loves going to see her, which says everything! She always puts my mind at ease too and takes the time to explain things, which I really appreciate. The reception team are always so friendly and welcoming, it just makes the whole experience even nicer every time we visit. I’m so grateful for everything they do ❤️ Highly recommend!

We use this veterinary practice for our dog and cats, we are always treated with respect and listened to with any concerns. All staff are attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. We have never had any problems getting an appointment that fits in with our commitments. Our dog was suffering with symptoms of bloat, which can be a life threatening condition. The staff stayed late and completed the necessary tests to rule out bloat. They gave advice and put our minds at rest. We would definitely recommend this practice. They now have all the equipment in practice to complete in-house tests to reduce the stress of taking your pet to an unfamiliar and distant surgery. Excellent team.

What a fantastic service! My german shepherd Millie doesn’t like other animals but was in need of her nails clipping. Stacey the manager was brilliant, she soon sorted a time out within a few days & made sure it was a quiet morning so Millie didn’t get stressed out. They made her feel so welcome & calm during her visit. They clipped her nails with ease & give lots of fuss. Thank you Stacey & the wonderful staff. 🥳🐶🩷 xx

Fantastic practice with a brilliant team. They helped get to the bottom of my dog’s skin issues through thorough testing and clear treatment plans. The staff are always polite and helpful. Stacey has also been an excellent help when it came to dealing with the insurance which helped put my mind at rest. I would highly recommend Vets for Pets to anyone.

We joined Vets for Pets Longton a couple of years ago after relocating and had an elderly dog at the time. He became unexpectedly unwell and the cause was really unclear. Michal the vet was so supportive, kind and knowledgeable and he listened to every worry I had, despite it not being totally clear what was wrong. Sadly our dog was very unwell and Michal gave us all the options, made our lovely Max comfortable and was just the best through what was a heartbreaking time. Fast forward almost a year, weve returned with a new puppy, and Michal recognised me straight away and was so lovely. The reception staff so attentive, the vet who saw our little lab so kind and knowledgeable too. I have no doubts that the support we will receive over the next many years with our new dog with be gold standard, as it was last time. Thank you!

I took our elderly hamster Dumpling in this evening and they treated his prolapsed cheek within 15 minutes. Can’t thank or recommend them enough! The vet got him seen and fixed him up straight away and the nurse was so kind to me as I was so upset and gave me great advice on how to avoid the same issue in the future. He’s happily back in his bed without too much disruption. Amazing!

My dog Frankie was transferred here after a very rough night at the emergency vets following a severe seizure. She was staying all day and was being monitored and having tests. All staff were brilliant and the vet was very caring and even before her shift started was asking about Frankie on her way in. I was advised on arrival that the cost of the day's treatment would be £600-£700. On picking up a much better Frankie, I was asked to pay £148. The vet informed me that when monitoring Frankie it was decided she didn't need some of the tests predicted. I can not thank the team enough for the fact we have Frankie home and well and with the little humans she adores. Jo
