We have been clients of this vets practice for many, many years without any issues. Unfortunately, very recently, I experienced a level of service when bringing in my puppy for a very normal check-up and vaccine that fell well below any standard level of expectation or service. It was quite frankly shocking. I was given a "student nurse" and not advised of this in advance of my appointment or given any opportunity to request someone actually qualified. While she was able to adminiter the vaccine, she could not answer any of my questions. She kept leaving the room to ask other people and I was left without any basic understanding surrounding flea and worm treatments. She declined to provide me with any other treatment due to the fact that she did not have the necessary permission. When I made a complaint the response that I have received in writing from the person in charge is SHOCKING. No responsibility has been taken by ANYONE there at all, no APOLOGY has been provided by anyone there, except the poor girl who was very clearly out of her depth. Instead, I have been advised to go elsewhere with my two dogs for their future veterinary care! A simple apology would have sufficed, along with an acknowledgement that things had gone wrong and should have been done better - that's all.

Couldn’t have been better. Easy to make appointment, seen on time, friendly reception staff and Dr. Paul Dobson was thorough, professional and caring. Couldn’t ask for more.

On Tuesday I lost my beloved dog Alfie, and this was heartbreaking for me. He was 13.5. All I wanted was a kind word, reassurance and help from my registered Vet. This was not forthcoming at all. Alfie weighed 42 kgs and I was told to bring him to the Vet. Obviously this was impossible for me as I’m disabled . I was then offered the number of a ‘dog taxi’ which I declined. The understanding and kindness of the Receptionist was not forthcoming at all and I was then told they were a Vet short that day and they couldn’t help me. Thank goodness for Farnham Veterinary Hospital who I was not registered with but who went way above my expectations and helped me.

A very helpful and friendly team of caring people. The vet is extremely good at explaining the best ways possible for best care of our pets and also taking into consideration our feelings also!

Dear Cathcart & Winn Veterinary Clinic, I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering care and support you've provided to Buddy over the past four years. Buddy has always received the best care under your supervision, and that commitment continues to this day. On September 23rd, when Buddy suffered his accident, he received immediate basic care at your clinic. Then, on Monday morning, you promptly referred us to the Specialist Clinic in Winchester, where the diagnosis based on their examinations was devastating: a spinal fracture. In challenging times, the importance of empathy and support cannot be overstated, and I am grateful for the compassion you showed during this difficult transition. Your clinic's collaboration with specialists like the Winchester Clinic brings peace of mind. Buddy underwent a 6-hour surgery with the implantation of 8 implants, and his condition is stable. I know that post-operation, he will require further care, and I'm thankful for your part in his journey to recovery. I would like to express my gratitude to the entire team at Cathcart & Winn Veterinary Clinic, especially to the doctor who acted swiftly, ensuring that our beloved Buddy will once again walk on his own legs. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Warm regards, Adriana
