DENTAL SERVICE This week one of my dogs underwent a new staged dental procedure at Aldgate, and I can honestly say I was thoroughly impressed from start to finish. A few days beforehand, blood tests were taken and I was given reassurance that everything should be fine despite my dog being older. I’m incredibly grateful to Caitlin for patiently answering my long list of questions and taking the time to ensure I felt fully informed and reassured throughout. On the morning of the dental, Izabelle was absolutely meticulous during the admit process, carefully working through a full set of observations to ensure it was still safe for an anaesthetic to be administered. She also clearly explained that stage one of the dental would not exceed 1 hour 30 minutes, with any remaining work being completed in 4–6 weeks to avoid placing undue stress on dogs requiring multiple extractions. Her manner with my dog was exceptionally gentle and reassuring — so much so that my dog genuinely didn’t seem remotely bothered about being left there. The excellent level of care continued with a detailed phone call from Amelia, who had carried out the dental procedure herself. She thoroughly explained exactly what work had been completed, why particular decisions had been made, and what the next steps would be. Again, she was hugely patient with my many questions, and I really appreciated the time she took to answer everything so carefully and professionally. When I collected my dog, it was immediately obvious what an outstanding job Amelia had done. My dog’s teeth were absolutely sparkling, and it was equally clear that the extraction had relieved the discomfort she had clearly been experiencing. Donna, who carried out the discharge, was faultless — professional, kind, and incredibly reassuring. I came home with a very happy dog who had clearly been treated with the highest standard of care throughout. For that, I am exceptionally grateful. I genuinely wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Aldgate’s Dental Service — it is second to none.

Reflecting on the night we lost our beloved Lulu I want to share what a difference the Bridlington staff made. We arrived with our dog in the early morning looking unresponsive. The vet being unsure ran to grab her from us to try to save her. The act of rushing to what was a dog already passed and the effort to explain what happened was so respectful of our loss and something that we are very grateful for. Thank you Ricardo Pereiradasilva and to the lovely assistant Vet working the overnight shift 14/15th March for the care and empathy you gave us at such a difficult moment. ❤️

Excellent. The vet we saw was knowledgable & a good communicator. We needed an urgent appointment out of hours & it was easy to book. The vet gave us several treatment options and gave us time to discuss the best one for our very elderly cat. Much appreciated the advice given.

Wonderful in an urgent situation on New Year’s Eve. Thanks to Vet Russell and follow up vet on New Year’s Day (not sure of her name) and all the staff on duty. What I appreciated most was the speed with which my urgent appointment was handled.

Excellent care for our three Wire Fox Terriers. Thank you Giles. A pleasure to meet you yesterday. What I appreciated most is the fact that Giles had time for us, and did not rush in any way. After all, we always have lots of questions for the Vet!

Having just moved to Bridlington, our dog came in for his first appointment with you as his new vets. We were informed about your Pet Health Plan and we joined this as it saves a lot of money over the year. The Receptionist who booked our appointment and the Locum Vet who we saw were both very friendly and the professional care we received was very thorough. The treats went down well too 🐾😋 thank you

First visit since the 1950s town opened, absolutely brilliant, intended to look round the whole museum but spent all day in this part. Fantastic, loved every bit. Also Beamish staff, nicest people ever.
