Always gone to these vets, when we moved to Loxwood with my parents, have taken both our cats there and now that I’ve moved to alfold and have a dog. We now take our dog there! Staff are really friendly and are very good at explaining the best options for your pet

The team are always so caring and attentive. Happy to offer great flexibility on available appointments times, often at short notice. Would highly recommend them as been taking my dog there for the last 10yrs and never anything except brilliant!

Our first visit today I was pleased I chose this nice homely veterinary practice. Stephen was lovely he explained everything as he went along. Lulu my little Chug was a little nervous but Stephen was very gentle and made Lulu ( and myself) relax she even ate the little treat he gave her before we left the practice obviously checked if that was OK before giving it to her. I feel confident I've chosen the right place for Lulu to receive the best care. Thank you to everyone at Alfold veterinary practice for making us welcome. Linda & Lulu

My dog went for his annual booster vaccines. I was advised that he could stretch them to every 15 months which was helpful. Particularly as I don’t want him vaccinated but the kennel won’t accept him without. He was examined beside the car as he refuses to come into the surgery! You czn’t carry a Great Dane. The vet was through and the cost reasonable.

Absolutely agree with the below. Standards have really fallen. The practice manager in our experience has always been extremely rude, to the point of bullying. We left some time ago and very glad we did.

We will be changing vets. My dog had £2,000 of surgery, after 2 days they removed the bandages, did not provide antibiotics and sent me on my way. Wounds kept bleeding so returned this morning to be told that yes you do need antibiotics and they redressed the wounds that should not have been open. They have tried to charge me £38 for dressings even though the vet said the surgery was the all in price. When Lizzie was the vet we never had any issues. Since the new Practice Manager came in it has gone downhill fast. The lack of antibiotics and leaving open a wound after less than 2 days surgery is astounding. Giving serious consideration to reporting to the RCVS.
