Spud and Biffy had their 6 month healthy pet check appointment on Monday with Beth. It’s the first time we’ve seen her and she really was brilliant! Really thorough and very sensitive to the fact that Biffy is a very nervous rescue. A fabulous veterinary nurse! 5⭐

Able to make appointment for my distressed dog on the same day as I called. Catherine saw our dog and gave her a thorough examination (40 minutes) and pain relieving injection. She also prescribed a NSAID drug to relieve pain and reduce inflammation plus an antibiotic. We felt the dog had been well looked after and attended to.

Ardene Vets are brilliant! Reception team are welcoming and helpful. Our Vet we seen yesterday was Rosie. She was really good with our Golden Retriever, full explanations and gave good advice. Have a plan of treatment and fully informed. Couldn’t ask for anything more. You feel your pet is in good, safe hands. I would always recommend Ardene Practice.

From first contact to paying the bill all the staff here are great. Really good to deal with. The vet and nurse who came to see my cob were most appreciated. We know what’s up and have a plan now! Very grateful to you all for making the epic journey to see us all!

My first experience of Ardene was extremely positive. As a first time dog mama I was anxious about my unwell 4 month old mini dachshund but we were seen an hour after calling the practice. We were listened to and treated with calm reassurance. Would recommend.

Fantastic vets, best ones I’ve been to by a mile. Rosie was absolutely outstanding. I just knew they were in safe hands. Not the cheapest but by god they are the best.

My 23 yr old horses was extremely poorly and this was my first time needing a pet to stay at a vet. This is not my normal vet so we covered a decent distance to get there. From my first contact with them, I was informed every step of the way as to the best way forward plus how my horse was that day. My horse had one vet Annie throughout and I was updated twice a day and one of them was a phone call. I felt very relieved knowing Annie was there and I got a couple photos too so I could see my horse was improving. I was encouraged to ask questions and to clarify anything. I was also kept informed of the treatment cost daily. As much as I wish my horse didnt need this stay, I could not have asked for better care of my girl. A 5 star stay and treatment rezulting with my mare home and happy.

Austin, farm and equine vet, at Ardene House. Is what all Health care professionals should strive to be. One of my hens had been attacked and her leg was so badly broken she had to be put to sleep. This was horrific. Austin took time and care to ensure Lindsey "faded away peacefully" his words. He was sensitive, he cared and he made me feel Lindsey (my hen) mattered to him. My girl died peacefully in my arms. It was a gentle death and she did indeed fade slowly away. Austin lessened the horror . I am so grateful to him.

I have been going to Ardene House with my pets for nearly 20 years and wouldnt go anywhere else. They have always given the best care. The staff are always happy to explain the issues my dogs have and treatments, costs. Me and my dogs have always felt welcomed to the practice and the dogs have always enjoyed their visits. The two young dogs I have now get really excited to go in and greet all staff they see, as well as enjoy all the attention (and gravy bones!) they recieve. The oldies I had before recieved the best support and care and in the event of an emergency we were seen very quickly.

Absolutely brilliant! We’ve really struggled to find a rabbit savvy vet and Ardene House has been a breath of fresh air. Alison is amazing, and the care from the nurses and reception staff has been equally fantastic. Our 11 year old rabbit, Buddy, recently went in for a CT scan, and he has never been so comfortable with a vet, which truly shows how much they care and understand rabbits. We won’t be going back to our old vet now. Thank you so much!
