My miniature schnauzer Alberto actually gets excited when we arrive. Possibly because he knows Gemma on reception will give him hugs and treats! All the vets I’ve seen are outstanding, knowledgeable, professional and experts in their field. I usually see Tom, who is a thoroughly nice chap and has a natural rapport with both pets and their owners.

Wonderful caring & professional staff. I have owned pets for over 50 years and I can honestly say this is the best Veterinary practice I have ever used. The level of attention and time taken to ensure my dog receives the best care makes me so grateful. I feel listened too when I have concerns over my elderly dogs health , this is so important as an owner. Every treatment and medication option is explained along with the cost . Lastly and very importantly my dog is always made to feel special , from the friendly reception staff through to the lovely nurses and wonderful vets .

I have been a client of Arun Veterinary Group for many years and throughout that time they have provided outstanding care for my pets, from routine appointments right through to more advanced treatment and diagnostics. What really sets AVG apart is that everything is under one roof. Both their hospital and in-house referral service have meant that I’ve never had to be passed between unfamiliar practices for specialist procedures or emergency care. Most recently my cat Bailey needed urgent care and was admitted to the Chichester hospital. The care he received was exceptional. Not only was the medical treatment first class, but the communication and reassurance I received throughout was outstanding. What also really stood out to me was that the hospital ward team were the same vets and nurses who have treated my pets for years. Knowing the team made such a difference during an anxious time, and it was so reassuring to see familiar faces caring for Bailey. When he was discharged after very successful treatment, it was obvious they had genuinely spent time with him and got to know his personality and little quirks while he was in their care. That level of attention and compassion meant a huge amount to me. Having continuity with the same veterinary team across routine care, advanced investigations and 24/7 hospital treatment makes such a difference to me. I highly recommend Arun Veterinary Group

Very good and professional service, the reception staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. The veterinarians are knowledgeable and experienced, and show great respect for animals. The communication and thorough explanations were very professional. There's free parking for about 10 cars in front of the building.

The team at both AVG and their out of hours team have been fantastic for my Labrador Flynn. He’s had a couple of unexpected visits as well as planned consults and every time you are welcomed with a smile, honest and genuinely helpful advice. Most recently Flynn had an ongoing stomach bug, the team saw him a few times, doing everything they can to keep him at home with me, but were more than happy to keep him in when they felt he needed some additional support. I received multiple calls throughout the day and night updating me on his progress, next steps, always confirming I was happy with prices, risks involved etc. I’ve got nothing but praise for the AVG team and thank you for looking after Flynn so well, I think he’ll miss his stay!

Whilst the phone call and vets are fine. When my wife went in to collect our cat, she was asked if she wanted some cream, as no mention of price was discussed, my wife said yes. Next thing, a charge of £41 for a tube of cream, which you can buy off the counter anywhere else for £10-15. The following day, I went in to ask for a refund on the unwanted and unopened box, where I was told that refunds were not permitted and they wouldn't take the cream back and it would need to be destroyed. There was no apology or customer service, leaving a very bitter taste. They are not exactly open and honest with their costs from the beginning and that's now £41 wasted! Thinking about it, maybe 2 stars was generous!

This is a lovely vets. The staff are all so friendly. There's a separate part to the waiting room for cats which is really nice. They are quick to respond too. Would recommend.

The search for my lost dog ended at the Arun Veterinary Clinic. I am very grateful to both the person who found the dog and the clinic itself. The clinic took the time to trace the dog's Dutch owner using the dog's Dutch microchip. The dog was well received at the clinic, its health was checked, and it was then fed and rested. The vet personally informed me, and I was able to pick up the dog immediately (on Sunday).
