I’ve had two great experiences with ASL Vets so far and wanted to share my first impressions. I visited the Wickford branch yesterday for my puppy’s second vaccinations and was looked after by Dr. Alina. On arrival, I was really impressed with how spacious, clean and well-presented the clinic was. There was nobody else waiting at the time, which actually worked out really well as my puppy is a little anxious around other dogs. Dr. Alina started the appointment with a full health check before discussing the vaccinations, which I wasn’t expecting but really appreciated. She was extremely professional, thorough and gave lots of helpful advice, making me feel much more confident as a new puppy owner. Unfortunately, the Wickford branch didn’t have the specific vaccine my puppy needed in stock. That was just one of those unlucky situations, as they couldn’t have known which vaccine he required before I arrived. They arranged for me to visit the Billericay branch instead. It could have been inconvenient if I’d had other commitments, but fortunately I was able to head straight over. The experience at the Billericay branch was just as positive. I received a warm welcome at reception and was seen promptly. Charlotte carried out the vaccination and, like Dr. Alina, she was friendly, professional and took the time to answer my questions. Bonus that my puppy didn’t even flinch when injected! Overall, I’ve been really impressed with ASL Vets. Every member of staff I’ve dealt with has been welcoming, knowledgeable and genuinely cared about providing a great experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and I’m looking forward to using their services again in the future.

Alina was friendly , caring and took an interest in rosie and Milo not just in a clinical way . Alina is one of the reasons I decided to switch to this vets ,and she discusses alternatives rather than pushing like some other vets . She has empathy for animals , and didn't treat them just a pets. I originally came for a second opinion with millie ,and was really impressed with how they treated her as was looking at a £4000 operation with another vet . Alina discussed other options and took tests and we decided it was not in millies interest to go through with the operation ,as could have been worse for her . I changed all 3 cats over to ASL after that .

Registering with ASL vets was the best decision I have made. The practice is in walking distance from home and Nelly was calm and happy due to being handled with care and kindness by Dr Alina Dumitru. I have already recommended the practice to my friends and family.
