Benfleet Veterinary Surgery

Our spaniel had a laparoscopic spay at Benfleet after being referred by our usual vet, who doesn’t offer keyhole. The whole team were faultless throughout. Olive was back to herself within 24 hours and has been given the all clear to go back to normal activities just 5 days later. At her post-op check, she was so happy to be back at the surgery and was running over to the staff for cuddles, which shows how well she was cared for. The price was also very reasonable for keyhole surgery. We wouldn’t hesitate to return.

I've been going to this vets for a while and overral I really like them. My little dog Elsa had kidney disease and I used this practice to carry out blood tests to keep an eye on her kidney health. Last year I chose to have my young dog spayed via keyhole and had my kitten spayed earlier this year. My kitten then grew a tooth abscess which Vet Lina helped us fix and heal. I am a very very anxious pet owner and had an extremely difficult time leaving my dog and kitten for their surgeries. Vet Logges and Vet Lina were understanding and were kind enough to try to put me at ease. I was a bit of a mess when I had to hand them over but everything went well as far as my babies' surgeries went. This vet practice is very reasonably priced compared to others too. With regret I can only give this vet surgery 4* because of one of their vet receptionists called Donna. She was civil at all times but she made me feel like I was wasting her time asking important questions and I felt hurried off the phone on a couple of occasions. When I was frantically crying in worry over my kitten, Donna made no attempt to genuinely assure me my girl was okay. She was very cold and robotic with her manner and showed no human empathy. I believe kindness costs nothing, but can be priceless. There is another vet assistant I'd like to give a big mention. Graham. He is an absolute credit to the vet practice. He is one of the most professional, kind, understanding and patient people I've ever met. He was so lovely and reassuring when I was feeling so distressed and vulnerable over my kitten and dog. Graham is BRILLIANT! He's an absolute star!

Benfleet Veterinary Surgery, led by Dr. Logeshwaran, is truly outstanding. Dr. Logeshwaran is incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely concerned about the wellbeing of every pet that walks through the door. His clinic is well equipped, clean, and run with the same high standards by the entire team. Our pet Billy recently had surgery there, and the level of care he received was exceptional. The staff were reassuring, attentive, and kept us informed throughout the process. Billy is recovering smoothly, thanks to their expertise and dedication. I’m truly grateful for the compassionate and high-quality service provided. Highly recommended to any pet owner looking for a trustworthy and caring veterinary practice.

I had my dog Elsie, a Border terrier, spayed with the Benfleet veterinary surgery using keyhole surgery. I was very anxious for weeks prior to her operation but I really had nothing to worry about. The surgery needed no stitches and Elsie was up and about the next day if nothing had happened. Keyhole surgery is more expensive but in my view worth every penny. Thank you to all the staff....

Wonderful vets. I used to go to a big chain vets before and was quoted over £700 for dental clean. Dr Loges did it for a fraction of that price and removed 5 teeth. My other dog had a skin complaint which was diagnosed straight away after a skin scrape.for a very reasonable price. Last week my puppy went in for a spay using the new keyhole technique which was amazing ! She was completely back to normal after one day. We chose this option as she is a very energetic puppy and would struggle to keep her calm for any length of time ! All the staff there are professional and very helpful. Wouldn’t go anywhere else now

Dr Logeswaren Is an extra ordinary vet. Highly skilled, professional and more importantly remains focused on what is in the best interest of the animal. He has recently completed a cruciate repair on our young Labrador . The quality of his work and after care means she is making amazing progress. Can not recommend highly enough. His veterinary team are exceptional too!

Fantastic vet, really cares about your pet rather than the money, operated on my staffy pup who's knee had come out of joint, operation was a success and he's now enjoying being a idiot! Parking is the only downside as there are only two spots, but can park further down so not really an issue.
