Appt was on time. Vet was lovely with both cats and they were well looked after and handled with care. Questions answered. Price was exactly what I had been quoted. Can’t fault the service or staff.

After taking my cat for some appointments and unfortunately having to put him to sleep in the end, I have to thank Jess and Jim for taking good care of him all the way until the tough choice, and give my thanks to the receptionists here for their compassion and kindness. I wouldn't want to take my pets anywhere else

I cannot recommend Borders Vets highly enough! After a very disappointing experience elsewhere, we brought our 10-year-old Staffy, Cox, here for a broken tooth. From the very first visit, we felt like our dog was in the right hands. The consultation was professional and reasonably priced (£60), and the medication for the waiting period was included. What impressed us most was their honesty and transparency regarding the surgery. Although we initially came in for one broken tooth, it turned out Cox needed 6 extractions in total. Despite the extra work, they stuck to the original quote of £360, which included all post-op meds and a follow-up check-up. It is so refreshing to find a vet clinic that truly cares about the animal's well-being rather than just the profit. Cox is recovering perfectly, and we are so grateful for the kind and fair treatment we received. If you want a vet you can trust, this is the place!

Fantastic service. Genuinely feels like they treat your pet like the old school family doctor used to do.

Very disappointed with the major increase in my pet vaccination and kennel cough administration charges compared to last year. To let you understand there are pet owners who cannot afford these rip off prices. In my view people who cannot afford this may have an animal suffering due to this. The way I look at this it is cruelty to animals. Expanding on this Vetinery practices are now big businesses interested in big profits. Your response on the matter will be very interesting.

Our experience of Border Vets has been generally positive. We had some past issues which we raised, met with them and were very happy that they listened and discussed our concerns and then acted on them. It was important that we felt heard and we certainly did. We have an excellent relationship with all of the practice, the nurses and receptionists are lovely and also knowledgeable and empathetic. We tend to see the same vet, Jess for consistency. In addition to the normal skills, Jess is a cat expert who is competent and research focused in whom we have great confidence
