I had a really positive experience with the veterinary team in Bury St Edmunds. The staff are incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely caring towards both pets and their owners. From the moment you walk in, you’re made to feel welcome, and the atmosphere is calm and reassuring. The service is excellent — everything is explained clearly, and you never feel rushed or overlooked. It’s obvious that the team truly cares about the animals they treat, and they go above and beyond to make sure both you and your pet are comfortable. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a friendly, professional, and supportive veterinary service.

I took my russian tortoise to see Matt for a beak trim. All staff were friendly and welcoming. Ample parking on site and spacious waiting areas including separate area for cats. The practice is light and consulting rooms of a good size. Matt explained everything to me as he took great care checking over my tortoise, and I was asked if there was anything else I wanted to ask about or discuss. I left with a very happy tortoise with a nicely shaped beak. Would certainly recommend going here from my own experience here.

I used Bury St Edmunds Veterinary Centre for the first time last week. I wished to use an independent practice where the animal comes first not the balance sheet. I felt welcome and valued from the moment I walked in reception. It would be impossible to find a warmer more welcoming environment. The vet that is saw was friendly, charming and well tuned in to the needs of my dog. She was very efficient and her routine examination was the most comprehensive and thorough that I have experienced in my dogs 12 years. They set the standard that all Vets should follow. I feel anyone could leave their beloved pet in the hands of this vets with complete confidence.

I have owned many pets whilst growing up and over my 42 year marriage therefore have a great deal of experience in going to vets! I have to say with no hesitation that this is the best vets I have ever gone to. They exceed in empathy, kindness and are happy to go over anything you don't understand for as long as you like. This applies to all the staff, from the first greeting at reception to all the nurses and vets. We all know how terrible it is when our pets are unwell so this is a huge comfort to me.

Bury St Edmunds veterinary centre is new to us last year we were given a lovely long haired French bulldog after our little boy was put to sleep. The centre was recommended to us by a friend so we booked ivy in for a consultation the staff are a real breath of fresh air kind considerate and in no hurry to palm you off and take your money. Unlike other practices in town. Ivy enjoyed her experience with the vet and was happy to stay there if we had let her. Five star experience. Keep up the great work all involved at the centre

I have been a client of Bury St Edmunds Veterinary Centre since soon after they first opened. I can honestly say they are the kindest, most professional vets I have ever used. Appointments are never rushed, everything is clearly explained & every member of their team goes above & beyond. Prices are clear & I have recommended them to several friends. I would never go anywhere else!

I found Dr Carly last year after my dog was diagnosed with Addisons disease, and I'm so glad we did. Carly is so knowledgeable and compassionate, my dog is a sensitive little lady and Carly has helped us find the medication doses that enable her to live her best life. She has been so supportive and always with a sense of humour about the situation, I don't know what we'd do without her. If we lived closer I would definitely bring my dog here for all her care, not just Addisons related things. Thank you Carly and team for creating such an awesome independent vet practice!
