  I have been with Celtic Equine Vets a couple of years now and thankfully have only experienced routine work, but I can honestly say Alan has been amazing with my youngster. He is so kind and patient and really puts him at ease. Reception staff are polite and extremely helpful and I get reminders of when I need to book in, highly recommend

  Celtic Equine are the best vets we have ever had. My daughter and myself have 2 ponies who suffer from sweet itch, my gelding Bryn has suffered extremely badly, having used fly sheets, all fly repellents, but didn't help very much. However the wonderful Chloe told me to use the sweet itch vaccination plus have him tested for any other allergies, this we did. Bryn was allergic to absolutely everything, so a vaccine was made for him and we now inject him ourselves with the vaccine every month and he is out at the moment at night with no rugs with a beautiful full tail and long mane, no itching at all when he comes in now, it's great I will forever be in Celtics debt you have given him a life at last, no more tears from me either. Harriet our 30 year old mare luckily has outgrown sweet itch but Celtic look after her with all her old age issues, she is a lively happy pony. THANKYOU ALL SO MUCH CELTIC EQUINE, AND A SPECIAL THANKYOU TO CHLOE AND MOLLY 🤗🤗😘😘

  Absolutely first class and always provide a prompt, friendly and professional service- with cover provided 24 hours a day. Celtic have cared for our ponies since they began practicing and the whole Team are great.

  I don’t know the best way to sum up a review of Celtic Equine Vets other than just truly amazing vets! They have been with me through my darkest time with my horse being pts and very compassionate and caring even during the weeks after. Through stressful times when they are patient and considerate, always happy to talk things through time and time again. I’ve always felt in control and always fully understood what was happening and why. I also especially love how it’s their own vets that cover the emergency call out visits not a stranger you’ve never met before. I genuinely feel like nothing is ever too much trouble. Thank you Alan and the team for looking after my horses and me 😂 so well

  Always had fabulous service from Celtic, and even more so this month as part of their "Weight awareness week". Chloe came out and weighed all 3 of my ponies, including the nervous, barely handled youngster. She did a fabulous job condition scoring all of them and I opted for the in depth nutritional consult for the rising 2 year old, which proved invaluable - I wouldn't have been feeding him enough without her input. I feel like we're going into spring with a plan for everyone's waistlines based on facts & no guesswork! :)

  Chloe has been a great vet and very consistent. It is lovely to have someone consistent when they take care of my horse as her own and notice any changes in our check ups. They are always helpful in the office when booking appointments and also when noting things down on the records to ensure that I provide the best care for my horse. Celtic have been amazing through my experience and I will always speak highly of the equipment that they have ready to use if necessary!

  From my initial enquiry to ask about joining the practise to receiving my first visit to my donkeys I have found Celtic to be friendly and professional in their approach. I got the feeling that they really enjoyed what they were doing and were more than happy to spend time with their clients. Chloe's common sense approach to treatment was a breath of fresh air and I look forward to cementing my relationship with the practise. In these days of high costs it is good to know I am paying for a vets expertise without lining the pockets of share holders. Delighted I have made the move.

  Thanks to Caroline for sorting out my pony's abscess. She has been kind, skillful and patient. The staff have all been friendly and very helpful since we joined the practice. As a follow-up to my review my pony had developed quite a needle phobia after needing a lot of procedures over the winter. Chloe has been absolutely fantastic using positive behaviour techniques to desensitise her. With great patience and good humour she was able to do a dental check and take a blood sample with no drama at all. Cannot thank her enough.

  Firstly I'd like to thank Caroline for everything she did for my boy Harbour. In all honesty, when I found him unable to move in the middle of the field I thought it was all over, but Caroline's cool head and quick action enabled us to get him in and in and safe. Turned out he'd impaled himself on something, which required a standing operation. Caroline's surgical skills to unearth the rather impressive fragment of wood buried deep in his leg were second to none. He's not the easiest of horses, being a young ex-racer thoroughbred, but I love him and we are eternally grateful and so glad you've joined Celtic. 🥰 I'd also like to complement the rest of the team - everyone I have dealt with is so proficient & professional but also so kind. I have no hesitation in recommending Celtic.
