Would not reccomend at all. I can’t go into to much detail as I am seeking legal advice. Repeatedly hung up on me, mocked me, pretended to be the police, refused to provide call recordings of my calls with the practice (violating data protection laws) called the police on me, accused me of harassment, hung up repeatedly, answered and played radio music un my ear, would answer and laugh down the phone, called social services on me & then refused to call me back for our consultation appointment after I said I was upset that they had called them on me & lastly, disputed my charge back at the bank, even though I have email proof they told me the vet would not call me, and thought it would be a good idea to tell me my cat has cancer via email. Ive raised this all with the data protection ombudsman who is going to investigate their refusal to provide the call logs (all though I think theyll accidentally lose the calls and I’ll never get them). - Police were 100% on my side. The police said they pushed me, n pushed me and I bit the bait. they know I am autistic and recently bereaved but it didn’t stop them doing what they did. They were made aware i do not like being transferred amongst staff but did it anyway, generating a reaction. Do not use this vets if you want sympathy & patience. They cover up for their ableist staff!!!. I will be also appealing the bank dispute & when I can, telling everyone my side!.

What a joke, avoid this company at all costs. We have a boxer dog and took him there with lumps on his back and head. They should have took a blood sample from his lumps according to other vets and research we have done. Instead they never checked his lumps took a blood test and even asked us shall we take it from his neck or paw. They seem like they head their head in the clouds was this a proper vet. They late called us said ok with his blood test and did we want to send blood away for more diagnostics we said yes they called back to say all ok. You trust your vet and when got home we checked to see if this was the right procedure, this was not the right they should have checked with a fine needle on his lumps to send off to see if cancer was there etc etc. no follow up call about his lumps. Was like going to the doctors and saying there’s a problem with my back and checking my leg. False sense of security making out all ok never inspected lumps or tested want a joke stay well away £250 for nothing, it’s not about the money it’s about our animals having what they deserve a proper a valuation and hopefully a cure. Will be taking this matter much further had to give them 1 star to post should be negative stars. Not nice stay away

I would recommend chapel house vets. The receptionist are very polite. You can get appointments easily. Vets listen to you and are very kind and understanding. Explain what is wrong with your pet and give him treatment for condition. All the vets I have seen with my pet are very understanding I'm really very grateful to all of them

A very welcoming place the staff were patent and friendly. My cat Luna was booked in to be neutered, the vet was friendly, understanding and fully explained everything and was more than happy to listen to my concerns and gave me sound advice. I felt like they fully understood that Luna was not just a pet but part of the family and as such gave her the care she deserved. I didn't have to wait long to be seen and the reception staff were great. The building itself is welcoming and Clean. I believe I've found myself a great veterinary practice and feel my cats are in safe hands. I will recommend this veterinary practice to anyone.

I've been with chapel house vets for many years now. They have known my dogs from being puppies. I can usually get to see the vet of my choice, again this is because they know my dogs so well. ( Emma or Lucy) however, all of the vets are very kind & professional. All of the staff are friendly, efficient & very helpful. Thank you for all that you do. ❤️

I would really like to recommend Chapel House Vets in Staveley to anyone looking for a friendly, knowledgeable, and professional vet practice. On our recent visit, we were greeted by lovely reception staff and again by a welcoming vet who introduced herself, called our dog by her named and listened carefully to the reason for our visit before carrying out a comprehensive examination and coming up with a diagnosis and treatment plan. Cannot fault these guys, give them a try.
