We have been with the Lady Hill practice since adopting our cat, 3 years ago now. Because of our work schedule we often see different vets or nurses when coming but everyone of them, as well as the team in reception have always been welcoming. We always feel heard when we are worried about anything and we always get clear explanations when we share our questions. They take the time to get to know our pets and make them feel comfortable during appointments. The location itself is easy to find, with on-site parking and a very clean building. The waiting room is split, with a dedicated area for cats which has been very helpful when coming for appointments. The health plan offered there has also been a great investement and at a decent price compared to other places. Would recommend!

I have been with them for 3+ years They have excellent vets who care about the animals. In my experience their prices are relatively ok Many times I have had inconsistent answers from the front desk, and I almost always have to chase for my answer. When I later ask why I had a different answer last time, the answer is always a shrug, hands thrown in the air with the comment 'well, it wasn't me who said that'. Sometimes I know that is untrue as I remember the face, however I let it slide. Which is a real shame

We’ve had a good experience with Chapel Vets. I’ve used another vet previously, but since moving back to Chesterfield I’ve had my two cats with Chapel. We choose to see Moritz as he’s gentle and friendly with our nervous cats and is always honest and understanding. One of our cats has been mistreated in her early life, so it’s important she interacts with people who are compassionate and you can see that with all at both the Staveley and Hady practice. We also appreciate the record keeping and not having to explain our pets issues several times, so that makes us feel more comfortable and confident that we’re in good hands. We use the Kinship app and I think it could have better compatibility with records at the vet and keeping up to date whilst pet is in the vets for procedures, but I understand it’s in its early phases of use. Overall very happy :)

We needed our beautiful pup Lulu to be neutered due to complications with her seasons with her being almost 6 years old we were worried that there may be complications, so we were looking around for the best possible care for her. After much research we decided that Chapel House Vets was the right one for us we had an initial appointment with Claire who talked us through the whole process and made us feel that Lulu was in safe hands we were also reassured that the surgeon Dan was also one of the best . Due to unforeseen circumstances it was discovered that Lulu had a nodule that could be cancerous but Dan acted extremely quickly and removed it during the operation. (it was later confirmed to be benign phew!) Lulu recovered well and we were so relieved! The whole process was handled smoothly with care and and attention. Everyone we met were so kind and caring from the reception staff to the nurses and the vets we saw, a big thank you to Dan, Claire, Lucy, Sam Karolina and I think Beth who made a fuss of Lulu when we came for their boosters it was lovely to see that they remembered names after such a short period of time. We have now registered all 5 of of fur babies with Chapel House Vets and we would highly recommend them.

We have used Chapel House for a number of years and always had great service but this week needed to use them in an emergency situation. From the very beginning when I called for advice I can't fault the team who were incredibly kind, knowledgeable and acted quickly to avoid anything more serious. Rachel and Dan were great at communicating with me and keeping me informed throughout surgery. Thanks so much from myself and Indie.

After being repeatedly ripped off and misdiagnosed elsewhere in the past, we switched to Chapel House. Reasonably priced with staff that not only really know their stuff, but care so much too. When we had to have our guinea pig pit to sleep recently, staff were kind and the vet was patient with my questions, knowledgable and sensitive. To my surprise, we even received a sympathy card which was so touching. Thank you we will not use anyone else.

Our dog was put to sleep so we weren't in the mood to give great reviews. On reflection we feel that Chapel House deserves a better rating. The staff were very nice at such a sad time. They even sent us a commiserations card.

Chapel House have been our vets for quite sometime. My husband and I have had 2 rescue cats so far, both with several problems. Our previous Cat was a feral kitty - she would only allow my husband to pick her up and only let me pet her occasionally (nobody was allowed to touch her). Unfortunately we found out she had cancer when she was just 8 and we had to say goodbye. Our current kitty had been badly abused and the RSPCA got in touch with us and asked if we would take her in and rehabilitate her. She is very loving but very skittish and afraid of the cat carrier and being handled by strangers. The staff at Chapel are all amazing! They listen to me when I tell them about the care my Cat needs in order to keep her calm. She isn't keen on men at all (apart from my husband) so they make sure we have female vets and vet nurses for every appointment. They handled my previous Cat with great care and understanding too. Wrapping her in a towel when they needed to examine her (she had a broken leg which led to the discovery of the cancer). They really care a lot about their patients needs and will take everything into account for each individual pet and owner. They were very sympathetic when we lost our previous cat and we even got a lovely card from them. The reception staff are fab - very knowledgeable and you can call them and ask them anything relating to your pets and they go above and beyond. The Vets and nurses are of the highest quality and they always handle with the greatest care and understanding. We won't take our cat anywhere else!
