Staff are always very friendly. Our previous Airedale always loved going to the vet and could not wait to get in. Teddy our rescue, almost 13 seems to like his trip to Chapelfield as well. Vets have always been so very kind and caring, especially when Archie had to be put to sleep. Two lovely lady vets came to our house to put him to sleep. They were so gentle and kind.

We lost our elderly cat a number of months ago and Chapelfield Veterinary Partnership couldn't have been more kind and thoughtful at this very sad time. We have just adopted a new kitten and, again, they were so kind and reassuring towards her when I took her for her first visit. I would thoroughly recommend them.

Both of our girls go here and the staff are phenomenal. Our girls are very important members of our family and it is so nice to be able to trust a whole group of people who will care for my fur-babies as much as I do! They are almost always able to see us right on time, they are professional, caring, thank you!!

I unfortunately had to say goodbye to my Dog of almost 13 years today (technically my mum’s, as I don’t live with her). This was something that had come on rather suddenly, and so it’ll be a while before I process it properly. Initially, there seemed to be no record of the appointment being booked that morning. However, the receptionist advised a vet would be available after a brief call. By this point, I was worrying as my Dog was suffering quite badly (mostly with her breathing, and probably some dehydration due to being unable to eat or drink). About 15 minutes later, we went through to one of the rooms. Unsurprisingly, the options were limited due to her age and symptoms, and it was clear my beloved Maisy would need to be put to sleep in order to avoid any more pain. Matt was the vet who took care of everything for us, and - having never gone to this vet before - I can only recommend them based on Matt’s empathy and professionalism. What is never a nice moment was made as comfortable as is possible.

I pay for pet plan with the veterinary in Long Stratton. Had a text message from Chapel Field to have a well being check which I thought was under the plan that I have. At no point was it mentioned that there would be an additional charge of £60 to have her urine and bloods checked. I can see now why vets charges are hot in the news at the moment!! Needless to say I’m not happy with the lack of communication and the approach that was taken to get more money out of me!! This payment was never mentioned to me prior to the consultation by the nurse or Chapel Field Vets. Needless to say I walked away without paying and angry.

My kitten was given a serious overdose of pain medication after her operation by one of the vet’s. She had to stay in hospital for two days after this. Avoid.
