Brought my mother here with her dog , you can't really fault the staff or service but when did vets get so expensive, £70 consultation fee for small animals , and £35 to have you're pet weighed with £17.50 for continuing weigh ins and £35 for nail clipping . I'm glad I don't have any pets. My mother is nearly 80 and it cost her £250 for a consultation, and injection, and tablets, if that doesn't work the dog will have to have a blood test but that can't be done there, so will need a trip to beccles, I hate to think what that would cost 🤷🏼♂️

Last Friday unexpectedly we have been told that our cat is very ill and with devastation we had to agree to put her down . While the vet is preparing our cat for the fatal injection, receptionist came to the waiting room and said “ she is a fighter, isn’t she ? She won’t give up!! “..we couldn’t believe what are we hearing, it was the last kind of words any upset pet owner to hear , as we were kind of feeling guilty to make such a sad decision. Pebbles was our cat last 18 years and very important part our lives. Her words were most unkind and horrible thing to say , no empathy, no respect and no feeling sorry for my pet and us .. This woman shouldn’t be working in front line and customer service related positions as her attitude towards us was very unkind. I already made an official complaint but no response from the Tree river Vets yet . I hope with this review they will take their customer services more seriously and provide proper trading to their staff or employ the right kind of people for such an important position.

Nice staff. Like most vets very expensive since being bought out by global conglomerate. In this case IVC. Such umbrella companies are currently in the spotlight for massive profiteering. Hopefully, they'll get their wings clipped and prices will come down.
