A brilliant vet's practice. My dogs have gone here for 10 years and have always received excellent care and recently Thorpe Medi Vet helped inject my tortoise who has been very ill, as I wasn't able to do the injections.

Can’t praise this practice highly enough, staff are always friendly and helpful. My dog, Apollo, has suffered from a chronic cough and Gerrard takes his time to check everything and explain what is happening. Apollo definitely feels in safe hands.

Gerhard professional and thorough as ever. Took time to ask any concerns. Never had a problem with this practice. Have had all our dogs looked after here. When needed they're always available (although Gerhard gets booked up for weeks in advance) so that just confirms his commitment to his job and his genuine concern for my dogs welfare

Soooo expensive, but I guess all vets are. I often come here and tell the vets what I think is wrong with my pet (I live with him, I know him best) and I often feel they're not listening to me or have an attitude of 'you're not a vet, what do you know?' but I've never been wrong so far 🤷🏻♀️ Idk, I just feel they should listen to the owner when they tell you what is wrong with their pet because after all, they look at the animals every day, you've only just met it. But mostly friendly and helpful staff. Keep in mind the waiting room is small so if you have an anxious or excitable pet, it might not like sitting that close to the other animals. Definitely put cats in cages just to be safe.

Since moving to Medivet Thorpe St Andrew, our cats have received outstanding care. Gerhard is an exceptional vet who takes the time to fully explain what is going on and possible treatment options, and the nursing and reception staff are always incredibly helpful and compassionate. We couldn't recommend this practice more highly. Thank you.

We’ve been bringing our pets to the vet on St Williams Way in Norwich for several years, and the care has always been outstanding. The reception team is friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help — they make every visit easy and stress-free. The nurses are amazing: kind, gentle, and great with even the most nervous animals. Our five rescued dogs feel safe and cared for here. A very special thank you to Graham, our veterinarian. He is exceptional — professional, compassionate, and truly dedicated. He knows each of our dogs, follows their health closely, and always explains everything clearly. We completely trust him. We highly recommend this Norwich clinic to anyone who wants their pets to receive excellent, compassionate care.

I wasn’t registered with a vet, but Karen, who answered my call was kind and understanding, she managed to get me in on the day for my elderly cat. The vet (Gerard? Sorry if I’ve just renamed you) was amazing with her. She’s showing signs of improvement today 🙏🏻 I’m so glad I randomly selected Medivet. Thank you

Really friendly place. Reception friendly and wait time just few minutes. Kid friendly place. Well informed consultation. All my questions were answered. Glad that I chose this surgery. Kitten was calm and comfortable under doctor’s hands. I can only recommend.

Visited yesterday afternoon with my precious little kitten and the staff were absolutely fantastic... Very relaxed atmosphere and nothing was any trouble at all.. Both the Vet that we saw and the nurses were really friendly and very professional and answered my questions straight away... I can honestly say that this is the best veterinary practice I have ever visited and would highly recommend Medivet Thorpe St Andrew to all pet owners.. Keep up the good work. You are all brilliant. 🙂
