We visited hoppers when our dog seemed to have a fit in the evening. It was a little weird at first getting there in the evening when no one was there and we were on our own in the waiting room. We did wait for some time. It would’ve been nice if they had had a look at our dog, even just cursory to make us feel a little better that would have been a nice touch. However the vet that treated our dog was really understanding and we never felt that she was trying to extract money from us for unnecessary tests and recommended we watch her and gave her some pain medication.

James has known Charlie since 2022 when James worked in Biggin Hill. We moved nearer Crowborough and the first thing we did was track James down again. He has always been so good with Charlie who is a Romanian rescue and fear aggressive. He sees him outside and Charlie does not go over thresholds. He is alway calm and deals with Charlie in an amazing way allowing him time to settle before examining him. In fact all the staff Charlie has met have been so good with him and also with our elderly Lhasa.

Bruno had been having a few days of upset tummy and vomiting. We saw James who was thorough and calming with Bruno. Took a full history, explained in a diagram what was happening within Bruno’s digestive system. Appropriate treatment given. James explained Bruno didn’t require any injections or interventions at this point (unlike the other local Vets who seem to push as much treatments as possible). Highly recommend Hoppers and of course James, a fabulous Vet.

I cannot thank James and his team enough for helping me and my husband through the diagnosis of cancer for Brody and finally taking him through to the end. James has showed nothing but care, companion given us time. Never rushed us, explained and discussed our opinions. At the end it was peaceful and James took control. I would highly recommend this practice and would never go anywhere else . Thankyou a million times.

I have been there this morning for the first time and I couldn’t be more happy with my decision. James is very friendly and good with dogs but most importantly he’s very knowledgeable and kind. My dog had a good health check and we have now on the right path to solve some health problems. Thank you very much.
