My dog is 5 and has been treated many times at Dorset Coast Veterinary Surgeons. She has always received a great service. This time she was given piece of a sandwich as a treat by an elderly lady lady. I noticed it was Coronation Chicken which contains raisins. The lady said she only gave her the bread but I rushed my dog to the vets as a precaution. My dog was seen almost immediately and given an injection to make her vomit to clear here stomach. Raisins were found so she was treated accordingly. It goes to prove its always better to be safe than sorry, and a good vet is vital if you value your dogs health! 🐕 👍

This has been the first time that my visits to the vet were urgently required for my cat. Their service has been excellent, from all those involved, very professional.

My dog was spayed yesterday, as you can imagine I was very anxious. The nurse was excellent she explained exactly what was going to happen, she let me know when my dog came round from the operation and when I could collect her. The nurse brought her out to me and even carried her to the car. I cannot praise this nurse enough the operation went well and me dog is recovering well, so thank you to the vet and many thanks to all the staff. I can't recommend this practice enough especially after the problem with my last vet. Thank you

I lost my cat two months ago. Poppy appeared to have had stroke so I called the vet to tell them I need to bring her in to be put to sleep. It was 10 mins before closing time. I was told I had to find someone else as the vet has to leave on time. I live 10 mins away. Poppy died in my arms. Shame on the vet. Will never put any of my pets into their care ever again.
